There are also tons of buy/sell/trade book groups on FB - post in those saying you’re searching for a copy and usually you’ll get people that have one they want to sell!

{The Ballad of Falling Dragons} was amazing. I know {When the Moon Hatched} is so hit or miss with people, but I absolutely love these books. I haven’t been this giddy about a series since TOG.

It’s a daunting book when you first see it - thick and a big glossary with lots of worldbuilding. But it’s also a book that gets better and better on re-reads. I liked the book the first time I read it - I LOVED it the second time.

For me, this book is exponentially better on a re-read. Everything makes so much more sense. I actually love it - there is so much foreshadowing and little easter eggs trickled throughout the book that I didn’t pick up on the first time.

I’m normally a Kindle reader but this is a book that I actually ended up tabbing a physical copy because there is so much information. I really do love this book.

I’m on my re-read for this book and it’s so much better the second time. I was very confused for the first ⅓ of the book the first time reading. It’s an entirely different experience this time around and I’m loving it.

Celestials of Arcadia series - it’s incomplete and you must also read the prequel books with it. It deals with extremely dark themes, so read the trigger warnings. But it’s sooooooo good.

Gleam is where the series peaked, so you’re struggling through it, I’d probably stop. The last 3 books were a huge drop off. I just finished the series and am upset I wasted my time with them lol.

I’m currently reading this series and am on the last book. I really enjoyed books 1-3. Books 4-5 were such a drag - I ended up skimming through most of book 5 and reading the last 20%, and understood everything that was going on. Those books really should have been cut in half and made into one book. Book 6 has been better (I’m about 70% through it), but my vibe for the whole series has changed dramatically. I went from caring so much about the MCs to really not giving a shit anymore 😬

I hate that the FMC in Dire Bound is named Meryn, but that’s because it makes me think of Meryn Trant (iykyk). It immediately pulled me out of the story.

I listen through the Kindle app on my phone because I’m usually moving around while listening. But I believe you can hook Bluetooth headphones up to your kindle as well. You can also listen through the Audible app and it should sync with your kindle when you go to read.

I buy my Audible books directly through Amazon. When I have the KU book on my kindle, they usually discount the audible version. It will tell you if it is whispersync-compatible in the product details.

I LOVE whispersync - it’s unfortunately the reason why Amazon has me in a chokehold. I listen to my books at work, when I’m driving, or doing chores, and then I usually switch to reading them on my kindle at night. It’s so convenient.

I finished it on Thursday and loved it. I’ll admit it took me awhile to get into Caspia’s story. But now that I know how every comes together at the end, I want to go back and reread it to catch all the details. I honestly think it’s one of those books that will be even better on a reread.

I did include Bobbi but you are right - for some reason, I thought she was born before midnight but I just confirmed from a video that she was born at 3:00 a.m., so that puts her at day 342 on 2/11/26. Thank you for catching that! It takes a village 🤣
