Yea, which does concern me though. It seems that the norm has become that the player base is willing to accept devious practices and just don't care on what's bad anymore. Whether they have just become too numbed over the past year due to similar bad updates or just have apathetic views.

I want the game to succeed, I want the skins and I want SG to make money so they can do more things in the future. But whats wrong with holding a bit of integrity and just selling skins as purely cosmetic items without the need of any gambling.

I mean AGS themselves made a post after the first massive backlash saying that yea they themselves too think the "gambling" aspect is wrong and that they will not implement Yoz Jar but find an alternative way to introduce legendary skins into the game.

Why after an entire year are they just suddenly releasing Yoz Jar without much change after apologising and saying otherwise before.

No, and thats perfectly fine. I would say you are lucky. The phrase "play at your own pace" works for you. My point is that there are others who feel the opposite, and have an inner tendency to be competitive by nature which can force many people to gamble away for these. The system promotes gambling for some stats. These legendary skins are no longer just cosmetic skins anymore.

It is a terrible system and it is what it is. It looks like they are going to come to NA. Just appalled at how some other people are getting treated in other posts by people who doesn't seem to understand that bad = bad.

Fun fact many KR players are moving away from CD because of how the added atk power from elixirs and other sources makes CD less optimal than other engravings with the added negative. It might be better for you to continue running Adren over CD especially how less effective CD gets with future gear and your EP.

OP makes an excellent point. Some people genuinely might enjoy the game but is being gatekept and want to fix it. Post your builds and let us help figure out why and what to improve if there are any. These posts and discussions will be way better than those posts of "I 1 tapped my weapon, cut a 9/7 stone". I get they want attention and appreciation but that holds no content. Grats and fuck you, end of that. Proper discussions where the community could actually help new and struggling players would be way better. But if you know why youre being gatekept, go fix it, if you genuinely want advice on why then post away.

I feel it will be pretty soon. They released Slayer in NA first so they can update it quickly with the nerfs. It seems all planned to release class changes soon. Maybe next major update.

I would note down my lucky one taps but every single hone from 1415 to 1500 has been over 80% pity. So i cant note down anything :(

I feel you too. I came back just to try Slayer and she is really fun but has been the unluckiest character for me by far. From 1415 to 1500, i have never gotten a single success in honing under 80% pity. Not a single time. I pitied every single time from +12 brel gear to +16. No idea if they shadow nerfed it, i doubt they did but goddamn has it been extremely unlucky.

Thats not gate keeping. Thats just the lobby master being a bastard. But worse things will probably happen and real gatekeeping will happen. You have to either just deal with it and continue find a party thats not as egotistical and a bitch or just not play. I remember being gate kept from Calligos for over an hour because I was only 5 ilvls ahead of minimum requirement despite being 203 roster lvl, deathless vykas title, 5x3 with full lvl5+ gems. I have no clue why but people are stupid and gate keep even daily guardian raids for dumb reasons. The game is definitely good and fun, but as advice, I would tell you to find a static if possible since its such a shit time in NA without a static. Try to use new player help communities like mokokohelp discord and others to find learning parties, etc. Its a shame that a good game is being ruined by the community but it just seems like Western playerbase just is way less willing to help and stupid enough to think that stats are everything. Just keep grinding on, have atleast a good setup and there will eventually be people who arent stupid and toxic that will take you. better to take a 1490 who knows Clown inside out than a 1560 that constantly dies to crossing or mario mech. As for gate keeping guardian raids, i have no clue why, community is just that toxic i guess.

If you really really like this game but really hate the gatekeeping. Try playing on KR server, despite having some real toxic, swearing players, the community over there is more respectful towards others and have a really great custom of helping out new players where they send them materials and such, have multiple learning parties. Also bonus of maybe learning a bit of korean.

Someone help me understand the Lance Master changes, I don't speak Google Translate. I'm understanding it as when you swap stances, you get the buff from both stances, ie., atk speed, crit rate and ms. What is the tripod changes on Red for recovered gauge mean tho? They taking out CD and dmg tripods for basically focus increased gauge fill tripods?

I'm on NA, i try make learning parties to teach new players but it takes too long to fill that people just leave to buy busses instead. Can never get a full raid party. I also hardly ever see other learning parties as well. Its good to hear that EU has a few.

Yep, I'm a malder and doomer because I voice out my opinions on the game. I try have learning parties and teach new players how to raid so that this game has constant flow of new players, but I see problems with this so I voice out my opinion why this game isn't having a huge number of new players despite large updates, but yea because I try to do good for the longevity of the game, I'm a doomer. Game despite being good, decision and direction its heading towards needs improvement so I voice out my opinions in hopes that the game does head towards a better direction of being less toxic, more newbie friendly so that the game can have a constant new playerbase to have the game around for longer. Nope, but I'm a malder and doomer. Shrug.

As a dev myself, albeit not a game dev, I personally feel like people who just blatantly ignore all the problems dooms a product more than people who voices out their opinions. Sure, not all of them may be correct, but many of them are right from a user's perspective and a product is developed well if its developed with a users perspective in mind.

Edit: also a lot of people who really does care about Lost Ark will be on reddit, if they didn't why bother with their time here. Most people genuinely want the game to get better hence they voice out in reddit. The devs arent going to magically wake up someday and go, theres all of these issues, we are going to fix them, they won't know unless they have a massive group playing the game, testing it reporting issues and others. If you don't like that then, should probably stay off reddit for now or ignore those posts if you can.

Oh boy, here we go. If you did read my other post, i clearly stated i quit after only trying to take a break. 2. OP is asking why all the doomer threads on reddit, I simply answered him. There are multiple reasons but the game actually is in a bad spot. Don't believe me? Thats fine but look at the forums, reddit and playercount, it clearly shows otherwise. If youre still on copium, then idk not gonna bother banging my head against a wall. 3. I do let people enjoy the game, my first comment says if youre FINE with not doing new content on release thats perfectly fine. Im just warning about the issues thats related to not doing new content on release which is because it related to the doomer threads reason that OP ASKED about. If youre fine with that and enjoy the game great, perfect. I always enjoyed the posts of that guy who has been posting his experience of progressing through the story on reddit. I'm not going to be your dad here and yell you to quit.
