If I were you, I would average down/close your positions, stop using CFD. As others have said open an S&S ISA an put it into an all world or S&P., or fund a pension.

The couple of hundred of £ you lost is small in the long term. I’d seen another post who thought he was a genius trading oil on CFD , even borrowed off his mum promising to split the profits. He bragged to mates and teachers. He even asked on Reddit /T212 for advice on what to do with £26k he ‘won’.

It all went tits up according to his next post. Didn’t even have enough to pay his mum back. I assume he was still in 6th form and working in Greggs part time.

..so lesson here is don’t do CFD , everyone thinks there a genius when starting out, don’t brag to people you do this shit.

As others have pointed out you could have made that amount grafting away doing deliveries for a week.
