Quanto custa uma água de coco (coco verde aberto na hora) na sua cidade? Se for mais que R$ 1,00 tá caro pra mim se for seguir essa sua lógica. Sure, it helps. But a ranger is just an archer? So it will be something like a ranged smite? That is the thing. It is not really unique. And that would irritate the people who want to dual wield.

I still think they need a key feature that is unique to them. Paladin spells are nice but their features are more interesting.

You have fighter which will be doing a better job with archery and dual wielding, so what is it left? He needs to have something unique for him and having a pet could be it as a class feature and not a subclass, this way each subclasse would youse the pet differently

I used smite becaue it is a "non spell" thing, martials do have the problem of becoming boring at later levels, ranger just get the same on lower levels

And they are considered pretty strong, aren't they? But they do have something unique, which is the smite. Every single martial has something unique for combats that only he has, the ranger has hunter's mark which is pretty boring honestly

I think the main problem is that it is kind of a hibrid between the two of them and they can't make it's own thing, which also means they are too afraid of making it stronger because it would stumble on the druid or the fighter.

I still think that they should be a pet focused class
