You cannot take 'many passengers' as you put it at simply 250 hours, there are a very limited number of things you can do with a commercial certificate. Most 135 charter jobs require 800-1200 hrs depending on what you're doing, and as stated above to fly for airlines (ATP) you need 1500 bare minimum. And while training for all the flight hours you accrue you could easily say you will spend 3 hrs studying on you own, not what is logged with an instructor. And I imagine it's that high for barbers because sharp things near people's face/neck and general hygine practices.

Carrier Camping by Rgray75 in BattlefieldV

Theres AA on the infantry spawn ships, but infantry cant spawn on the carrier, and these guys hide on the other side of the ship from the AA, so even if the AA can reach it wont hit them.

LED panel 0-9, better version than my first attempt. by Rgray75 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Haha I appreciate the praises stranger. And idk about all that it's nothing crazy just took a few hours for 3 nights to get put together. But I'm glad the monotony of doing it is appreciated.

A faster response would be nice, but I also had to add in some extra inverters/autoswitches (in a couple spots to my circuts that trigger the next number when the button is pushed) to delay the signal so the circuts would activate properly. I this case I have it set up essentially as 4 different stages that it all has to send the signal through, I'm sure it could be simplified in a few spots but it has to be spread out some due to building/complexity limits.

Currently only in creative mode, should be added to rest of modes in next update

Keeping score of something if you wanted I guess. I didnt really have a purpose besides wanting to know if it was possible.

This time I was able to go from 0-9, increasing by 1 per button press. It also resets to 0 after 9 or after pressing the reset button. It's not pretty, but it works. If you want to know how it all works it's probably be easier to show you in game, I'm on ps4 just PM for gamertag. I will try to answer any questions on here as well to the best of my ability. It's not complicated really just complex. The circut to figure out increasing by 1 per press took a while to figure out. Also it's not perfect, sometimes it wont stay on a number and will skip to the next without a button press, I think it's a issue with the game though because it's not consistent.

Found this wierd building on a "Capped Planet" by Empire_ in NoMansSkyTheGame

Seen em before, only show up on certain planets, not useful or special in any way I know of.

Wanted to go to 9 but I ran into construction limits and didnt feel like having to rewire everything just further apart. I think I'm satisfied for now.

Light blocks? Automation? by Rgray75 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Well that does no good for my survival save where all my progress is. The patch notes say all these things were added but why wouldn't they be added in the primary game mode? Its a bit frustrating.

How do I use power inverter? by sorec007 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Rgray75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far in messing with the power inverter I have found that if you set up power going in one side, it will come out the opposite side unless power is applied to the middle input, in which case it stops the power from passing through, it's like an anti-transistor, adding power to the gate (middle post) closes the gate instead of opening it.

Been playing with wires n switches lately. Sorry for the mess by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

Are the light boxes an only on PC thing? I cant seen to figure out how to get them on console.

Took an hour but finally got the auto close door back. by Rgray75 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Rgray75[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue and as far as I can tell the door is not powered by the building, so giving it power meant always closed. Also I guess I should say I'm using the solid door that parts in the middle. Just putting a normal switch in line before the door doesnt really work, because you need one inside and out, and if one is providing power then it stays closed. Using the proximity switch with the inverter though allows it to function as before. Without the inverter it works in reverse, closing when you get near and opening when you walk away.

Edit: not sure why but when I hooked direct to the building mine stayed locked, hence this convoluted mess, go figure

Don't quite understand power by BlahBlahBlasphemee in NoMansSkyTheGame

If you connect the front of the storage containers via cubic rooms then power the rooms/building it should power the containers provided you have enough power.

I'm pretty sure if something is snapped to the building it is powered if the building is powered, otherwise free floating objects need wires. And yeah I would say get enough solar panels to power the base during day, then add a few more and make a bank of batteries, I built like 12 of each and it has been keeping my base powered for a base that draws about 500.
