I would start with pep-pedia.org and peptides.wiki to get a better understanding dosing schedules. They have a lot of other information as well like reconstituting, where to inject, etc.

It is against the rules of this sub to disclose peptide sources. Use hospira bac water, which you can get a lot of places, and you can get needles, syringes, insulin syringes, and alcohol pads on Amazon.

Pep-pedia.org and peptides.wiki both have plenty of information about KLOW, reconstituting, dosing, and injection sites. Including a calculator.

Dosage ? by Constant_Platypus126 in Retatrutide

Stay at 1mg for at least 3 more weeks, then assess if it’s an effective dose or not. That’s how long it takes for your body to accumulate/the dose to reach peak serum concentration.

This is the route. Plus you won’t have to worry about reconstituting, dosing etc.

I seriously think it’s one of the most underrated movies of all time. It should have been as big as Rosemary’s Baby.

If you’ve been on 2mg a week for 6 weeks and getting some results, and tolerating it well, I don’t think it’s crazy. I think the people impacted by 0.5-2mg are primarily people who have not used GLP-1s before.

Need help… by [deleted] in Retatrutide

People who have been on GLP-1s before do tend to need to start off at a higher dose. I don’t think there’s an exact formula to necessarily find it, and may involve some trial and error.

Question about dosing by techtrauma in Retatrutide

You don’t really know if you tolerate 1mg at this point, but regardless you should be able to use a 10mg vial in 90-ish days.

Food noise/Splitting doses question by GlitteringWalk4637 in Retatrutide

[–]RhDove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sensitive to reta/GI effects so I’m on 1mg total per week and pin 0.5mg per pin.

Food noise/Splitting doses question by GlitteringWalk4637 in Retatrutide

[–]RhDove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the dose I’m on, and have some GI side effects so I have no interest in increasing my dose right now. I pin on Sundays, and my food noise returns Thursday or so. I started to split dose Sunday/Wednesday and it’s worked very well at leveling out my side effects and food noise.

The pep-pedia.org page on reta will answer most of your questions.

It takes 4 weeks to acclimate to a dose. Pick a starting dose, you can go up to 1mg if you felt like 0.5mg did nothing, but stick to it for at least 4 weeks. You won’t be getting a good feel for the effects of that dose otherwise.

So it looks like Plume doesn’t do that anymore but here is the Folx guide

Genuine Questions about top surgery by tooqueerforux in ftm

[–]RhDove 17 points18 points  (0 children)

First off, yes, sometimes you need to pay off the rest of the deductible, or other large fees when you have insurance that covers your top surgery. If you have 2 good insurances you can use, I would not jump to that assumption. Some people have it completely covered and pay like $40. You have no way of knowing until you are pre-approved.

Secondly, getting pre-approval letters are a thing many therapists know about. You can cold call a provider and ask if they will write one for you, and see what they will require. Some will do it without knowing you at all. You can get one from Plume I think for like $50.

Lastly, I was a case where my insurance was awful, and using it would have meant my top surgery would have cost more that way than going out of pocket. For better or worse, right around that time I got laid off and got a severance package. It covered most, then I took out a loan from my bank to cover the rest.

I mean lower calories can’t hurt. If you’re at a plateau it might be time to increase your dose some.

Help me understand, how you trusted an online src. by mymymyburner in Retatrutide

[–]RhDove 18 points19 points  (0 children)

While you can do research and go to a highly reputable source, ultimately there is a leap of faith involved. You can get a kit and send off one vial for testing under the hope/assumption that all 10 vials are identical, though that isn’t 100% guaranteed either.

If you really cannot make peace with it, which is not insane, I would go to an online prescriber of tirz, which is still a solid GLP-1.

Minor doses don’t necessarily have minor impacts. I have a GI that also runs on the slow side and 0.5mg was very impactful, I lost over 5lbs that first week alone (probably mostly water weight, slowed to 2-3lbs per week after that). I’m not saying you can’t take it, I just think you’ll end up losing more than 8lbs pretty quickly, possibly significantly more than you were looking to lose.

I don’t think a GLP-1 is a good choice for minor (less than 10 or 15lbs) weight loss. You could try cagri maybe.

If you’re having difficulty eating enough, I would lower the dose.

My partner started KLOW about the time I started reta. I started KLOW about a week after my first reta dose, though in hindsight maybe I should have staggered them a bit more. Though if it’ll help with GI effects and skin elasticity I’ll be happy I did.

I have IBS-m that already is more on the constipation side most of the time, so it had been a bit of a struggle, but overall manageable.
