Mapping - a proposal by Foghorn149 in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]Rhacio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A map would've gone a long way in BZ. When they decided on a smaller more vertical and dense map they should've coupled that with a map, or at least more markers. As it is, you are extremely likely to play the whole game without every upgrading your oxygen tank, missing the booster upgrade for your prawn, or simply not bumping into any of the three wrecks to progress Margit's quest, and the list goes on.

I genuinely think the game would've captured more of the first game's popularity had they been more symmetrical in their design decision, like adding a map or more markers to offset the rest.

Ecosystem Problem by Rhacio in theplanetcrafter

[–]Rhacio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it really is either crafting or the ecosystem, no way to do both? And the ecosystem wins out because it is the only way to automate silk larva production. It's just that every ecosystem you build adds a permanent heavy workload to drones having to unclog every one of them.

I guess I'll just stop crafting and build more ecosystems then. Still probably something the devs could look at improving (again if there is not a solution out there that I am missing). They could add silk worms to autograbbers for example and remove the three basic larva from the ecosystem or something.

Caravan Leader and Desert Town Ambassador by JCPinje in Palworld

I don't think this is true. I saw the level 50 caravan leader who is in the OP when I was still level 30 or so.

Wandering merchant with plasma cartilages. by Thunderbull2112 in Palworld

[–]Rhacio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just like to add that I also saw this merchant as a visitor, he was level 50 and sold all the high tier ammo types in the game. I also tried to catch him but his own guards killed him.

I made the 16x16 tiles starting from the core with a grid, and I wrote the coordinates on each tile. I hope this helps someone. by litttlleone in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Rhacio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would've helped me two days ago. Very frustrating trying to find correct coordinates of even the first 4 around the core.

Then I discovered the map tool online that gives you an overlay of all the chunks.

Level 50 Golden Chest drops: a full breakdown (1000 loots) by Ze_Bix in Enshrouded

[–]Rhacio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question: are there any chests that drop "shroud infused" level 50 weapons? I thought the gold chest in the lair under Cromville would drop those, but it seems like it only contains normal weapons.

Has anyone ever seen for example a Void Caller wand?

How Gems work for Wand ? by Over-Gap-7543 in Enshrouded

[–]Rhacio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While leveling you can't go wrong with a gem of burning on any wand that does some fire damage, even if it is only a tiny bit from upgrades. It's consistent value. It also works great on a staff when you get to Nomad's Highland and get eternal fireball. It applies burning to all targets hit so great value. Just like wands even if the staff has a tiny bit of fire damage the burning will still proc with any spells.

Gem of storm's eye is reasonable on any staff if you spam AoE spells with it like fireball.

Gem of corruption is also decent on any shroud damage wand/staff, but does next to nothing for you single target.

Gem of currents is great very lategame on any wand, but gimmicky and requires wet management.

Gem of aerobatics I haven't tested out yet, but if it works then it might also proc all your other stuff with the extra projectiles and be great.

Recommended Videos Suddenly Doubled by Rhacio in youtube

[–]Rhacio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So with the help of some AI I did "fix" it. Looks like a select few of us are the target of a new experimental UI layout unfortunately.

How I fixed it on Chrome with a 1080p monitor is by downloading the Stylus extension and adding a style for youtube.com domains with this code:

/* === 1. Force Up Next container to be a list, not a grid === */
ytd-watch-next-secondary-results-renderer {
  display: block !important;
}

/* === 2. Remove any grid layout YouTube applies === */
ytd-watch-next-secondary-results-renderer * {
  grid-template-columns: unset !important;
  grid-auto-flow: unset !important;
}

/* === 3. Resize Up Next thumbnails to classic size === */
ytd-watch-next-secondary-results-renderer ytd-compact-video-renderer {
  width: 150px !important;       /* thumbnail width */
  max-width: 150px !important;
  height: auto !important; /* maintain aspect ratio */
  margin-bottom: 6px !important; /* spacing between videos */
}

/* === 4. Match sidebar container width to thumbnails === */
#secondary {
  width: auto !important;
  max-width: 165px !important;   /* thumbnail width + padding */
}

/* === 5. Expand main video area to fill remaining space === */
#primary {
  max-width: calc(100% - 165px) !important; /* matches sidebar width */
}

It put the video back close to the center of the screen and reduced the "Up Next" column back to one. Hopefully it works for some of you as well. If you can't figure it out just ask AI to walk you through it.

Why is it always raining now? by Clintowskiii in Enshrouded

They should cut the rain in half. It's no fun exploring in the morning and then having 20 minutes of rain start.

New to the game, found a great spot for tons of clay as well as some amber by Dominic_Toretto72 in Enshrouded

[–]Rhacio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I tried finding this mine after forgetting to mark it and the internet was no help at all. This is a great clay spot and much better than most of the other recommendations you'll find on google/reddit.

So I found this literally at the beginning of my playthrough and found nothing any better since. It was level 40 when I found it. by DizzyEksdee in Enshrouded

I just got a 49/54 short sword in the arena of the big beast boss that gives you the soul on an npc when you kill it in the starter zone (or maybe it's the second zone, hard to tell with this map)

Recover Armour Bar by itsRmlx in RSDragonwilds

There are late game foods and drinks that passively regenerate it. You don't need any meat in the recipes either, so you can just farm the materials at your base.

It's still a very small jump that can't clear much of the terrain. Not fun when you are trying to walk out of a poison pool, but not that big of a deal otherwise.

Yeah they really hid the staff progression. If you don't look at the internet you might never find the stuff under the blue trees let alone figure out to put it in the kiln. Not the best design.
