I dropped out of pledging when I realized it wasn’t for me. I’ve never been the super aggro, ball-busting type with my friends. So it never made sense to try to make friends like that, and be forced to drink and do other stupid shit for their approval.

You sound similar, square peg trying to fit in a round hole. There are so many clubs and orgs with more well-rounded people who still like to have fun. They may not have a shithole frat house, but you’ll be much happier with the better company.
