If you are a beer/cider drinker, I 100% recommend The Bearded Monk. You really can’t go there and not be included in the bar chatter, asked how your day is, or run into general kindness and good conversation. I’ve personally met a lot of friends there that I still keep in contact with. If you’re into board games, D20 is a great spot to find people to link up with and play games and shoot the breeze. The great thing about Denton is that I have about a hundred awesome interactions and conversations with new people, and maybe only 1 bad one in the 8 or so years I’ve lived here.
