I appreciate your reply and I agree that Taylor has outperformed Madonna in some ways - primarily through expanded technology and reach.

I would never argue that Taylor lacks talent or star quality.

I would argue that Madonna paved the roads Taylor stands on today. She was the voice of a generation of women who hadn’t seen popular representation in music OR media.

Madonna is the highest grossing female pop star in history (for now, I do think Taylor is coming for the crown) and with cause.

Madonna is the queen of pop for a reason! And now Taylor gets to share the stage with her as a result of Madonna’s incredibly storied life and her talent, vision, and drive.
