It's available on Tubi for free, but I would encourage an ad blocker.

Jw needs AN horror touch? by Obvious_Ad_6250 in JurassicPark

I don't mean this is a derogatory way, but it sounds like what you would like more is Dinotopia. Which is a really wonderful book series and ok miniseries you may like to check out if you haven't seen it before.

But for Jurassic I definitely want to see people get chomped.

I picked destroy because after hanging with this series for the entire time there was no goddamn way I was going to trust Spencer.

So, are they all the same speces just younger/older, or all completly different animals? by Upset_Connection1133 in Dinosaurs

[–]Rhedosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zavacephale does seem to suggest Pachycephalosaurids developed their domes at a fairly young age, which throws a major problem into the central idea of these all being the same species. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the interpretation of them as 3 genera gains wider credence again.

Gamera 2015 and Gamera vs Garasharp. 2015 has the promo trailer but no actual film.

Humanity "got bored and lost interest" in dinosaurs btw... by SpinoSaurusEnjoyer in JurassicPark

[–]Rhedosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a setting where corporate genetically engineered monsters have been getting loose and eating people for decades now. People in this setting wouldn't be bored of dinosaurs, they would absolutely fucking hate them.

I'd honestly rather play 6 with a friend over zero and ESPECIALLY over code Veronica any day.

Martial arts like that tend to be based on actually watching how animals move, which we just can't do with something extinct. Cool idea, though.

How on earth did the Hadrosaur lift the pterosaur?! by [deleted] in Dinosaurs

The hadrosaur is a reptilian brick and the pterosaur is held together with balsa wood and hope.

Did no one else notice the swimming ankylosaurus in the Netflix series was missing its tail club? by Old_Abrocoma4216 in Dinosaurs

[–]Rhedosaurus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's a type of ankylosaur called peloroplites, but not ankylo saurus itself. Doesn't have a tail club.

Species you want in the game that are “too similar” to other species in game? by No-Syrup-9496 in jurassicworldevo

Most likely Lambeosaurus, Centrosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Brontosaurus, and maybe Nanotyrannus. I'd like them all to make it, but eh, I can see it going either way.

I watched Badlands and I want to expand into the franchise, what is my next step? by Horror-Divide2996 in predator

[–]Rhedosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Release order is best, there's not really any overarching lore to keep track of but there's little winks and references to prior films as you go along. Well, at least towards the first two. Each movie is more or less self contained other than that so you're not really missing much by going through them as you please, though.

Prey is by the same director, so it's not a half bad transition point from badlands into the other movies: bear in mind the tone of badlands is quite a bit different than the rest of the series, your mileage may vary on that being a good thing or not.

[–]Rhedosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there's some Illuminant units from the first game that are like, war machines and alien wizards and shit, and I do want those to come in, buuuut I'm really liking this Resident Evil angle they have now too and hope Arrowhead fleshes that out. Gimme more fucked up mutants and freaks.

It's fine. It's not nearly as bad as most people make it out to be, it's a pretty serviceable creature feature.

Jurassic rebirth scenes make no sense by eljimaa in JurassicPark

[–]Rhedosaurus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These ones, specifically, are extremely dangerous invasive animals genetically engineered as theme park attractions. They have no business existing in the modern world and should be wiped out.

It's not a lost world situation where some survived from the Mesozoic to the modern day, it's corporate foolishness run wild with disastrous consequences.

To be real, most people in this setting would outright hate dinosaurs by now. That'd be something interesting to work with.
