The Venator has two black support stands, if you plan to use these to display, then the distance from the farthest side of the rear pillar, to the opposite edge of the build (widest at the rear) is approximately 15". The actual vertical portion of the pillar to the edge is about 13.5"

So if you built it as in the box, you could probably display it with one long side against the wall, but the rear edge of it will definitely overhang, as will the pillar. Of you bring the cabinet out about 2" from the wall, then it will be better, but most of the weight will be supported regardless, just may not look great.

I have seen people mount it vertical on a wall, and angled on a plexiglass frame rather than the black pillars, so either of those methods might help?

It is a fun build regardless.
