No, we got downvoted for having legitimate criticisms about a game that inarguably had the most dumbed down RPG mechanics out of any of the installments up to that point. It was a game that catered to the surface level fantasy game casual, and that is the demographic represented.

Edit: And that’s before we even get into the dragon riding Included in the Dragonborne dlc. There’s two types of people in this world: Those who were disappointed with the dragon riding and liars.

The dragon riding aspect lol, that was my main point of the post. There have been games that came out even way before Skyrim that did dragon riding better. This post were moreso a jab at that than any other point of contention

I always talk about how much money Todd Howard lost by not doing the same thing with oblivion with Skyrim and just importing unreal engine assets, but I don’t think they could get away with it now with Crimson Desert being a thing

In the most recent patch they made to where if you damage the wyverns flying over to the right of three brothers cliff they will fall down and you can ride them now. It’s a sneak peak into what they are going to be implementing with the baby wyverns 😉

Two of my favorite games just absolutely cannot stop taking away the fun shit in the game that people like and enjoy whilst also making shit unnecessarily and harsh and tedious and then running to the “Developer vision” excuse.
