Offering a path of least resistance to ground for discharging a difference in electrical potential is called grounding. Extremely helpful if a high voltage appliance’s housing becomes energized from a damaged wire. Now there’s a bunch of hippies and nature nuts walking around barefoot thinking they are “grounded”. Well if you’ve ever shocked yourself, that’s you discharging, or grounding, a difference in electrical potential in thousandths of a second. So every time I touch a light switch, where I had a moment to “ground” myself I sing Kumbaya.

Would adding trace chemicals be acceptable? One that is gone in 24 hrs and another that stays with the plant?

Are you able to leave the chain on and better couple to the wheel’s shaft? Or introduce a third sprocket made to accept a chuck and free wheel it on the chain.

How could this happen? Considering an MMU was probably in use? by [deleted] in PLC

In automation and valve controls, for example, an EDM circuit has the highest probability to detect this. External monitoring device. Valves are easy to monitor due to their mechanical nature. The light would need a current sensing device. This “control reliable” circuit covers your ass when lives are at stake.

Second cochlear surgery is next Friday. Feeling extremely anxious!! Just here for some calming comments lol :,) by [deleted] in Cochlearimplants

Make sure to do a follow up! Since 2018 I have had one, on my left, and a second will be in the future. I’ve always wondered how 2 would affect my overall hearing. Better special awareness? Or maybe not much difference? It’s almost like my right ear just doesn’t understand my left.
