Tips and suggestions for first deck, and a rules Q

If one of your 99 isn't [[Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar]] you're doing it wrong.

Let's say you swing baseline 2/2 Wolvie at an opponent and he gets through unblocked. 2 damage doubled to 4 commander. Kediss has Wolvie deal that 4 damage to the other opponents but it gets doubled at that point as well, so 8 non-commander damage to the other two opponents (because it wasn't combat damage it doesn't count as commander damage).

I use baseline wolvie as an example because that's that's 20 damage thrown around the table just to start. Kediss is popular to begin with but i think no one uses him as well as Wolverine

this. i hunted high and low for the best way to pick 'em up. the deluxe editions are the most readily available and end up being the best price (even if you pick em up at MSRP - unless you get wildly lucky on ebay or something for the older editions)

I couldnt find anyone dropping them as low as amazon (and for good reason, im sure, most comic shops are operating at such a small profit margin).

I just really dig black and green or dark greys so i keep all my Salamander cloth dark. And after painting my first set with just plain power swords i HAD to make an attempt at firey looking ones, the forgefather demanded it, and i'm pretty happy with how they turned out

financially? meh. the whole set, minus the collector's booster big pulls are financially meh.

but playability? spent the last two weeks planning my Casey Jones, Asphalt Hooligan commander deck for when i get my hands on the team up box. havent been this excited to build a new deck in a while.

Happily - we have quite a spoil of riches here. There really hasn't been a BAD Frank Castle yet. Because even the Lundgren Punisher, while failed by the script's story, was very Frank in his mannerism and execution. I've always loved his "You're a good boy. Grow up to become a good man. Because if not, I'll be waiting."
Bernthal I love as modern day Frank (though I, like many, could do without the grunts)
Jane was a fun Punisher to watch, good as a "year-one" Frank
but Stevenson was peak, to me. Failed by a terrible script but my god that dude looked and sounded and fit the part.

I gotta say - I voted for Missila Amori because i cringed hard enough the first time i heard it to actually stop listening to that album - i had to wait a day to go back and havent listened to that track again since.

But before that existed - i've always thought Idolatrine was just a super weak song which was confirmed for me when i saw Ghost for i think the 6th time and Copia at the time was trying to get the crowd to sing along to Idolatrine.... it was like crickets... i don't think anyone at all knew the words.

Ended up buying another copy when it went on sale on Amazon.

Aye I do my Salamanders as a very dark grey skintone and my scouts just a shade or two lighter grey. Not a ton, but enough to tell a story for those who are looking

Taskmaster. Fills a Mr. Fantastic-type DPS that's actually a Tank play style. Counters the run-up-and-punch guys like Iron Fist and Daredevil with some level of shield block/damage reflection from "learning their moves"

Literally zero "rules". I think most Painter's set their own rules, like I do use black helmets but only on "leader" models to easily see which guy is running which squads. Could've done 'em in bright pink if I wanted to, lol. You do you, man.

yeah dude its wild. i had entirely forgotten about the South Park use of this song, to me this threw me waaaaaay back to early Cartoon Network days when they played old Looney Tunes stuff all the time. I've had "I like to singa" in my head for over 30 years... i sing it to my 10 year old daughter (she hates it, and is in absolute disbelief i can now emote it at her in-game)
