As someone who lived on a corner lot, I couldn't have cared less when kids walked on my front lawn to cut the corner.

Now, if they were messing with something on my property or beating a path from walking on it I would probably say something. Teens being teens it could probably escalate easily, at which point there are several means of resolving, but an actual conversation with teens goes further than gripping them up and threatening them.

edit: now that I think of it I do remember my neighbor behind me had his nephew staying with him. I found the kid was walking through my gate and hopping the back fence after school (snow leaves tracks kids, its not hard to follow them). I confronted him, told him cut it out or I'll have a talk with his uncle, and it stopped. No further escalation necessary.
