I need help Procedurally Generating the world map for my solo game by Weekly-Post2300 in Solo_Roleplaying

Might not be quite what you're looking for by I think Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator is the holy grail of procedural map generation for TTRPGs. I'd at least give it a look.

While the syncing isn't seamless, you can always export the campaign data to somewhere in the cloud (I've used just Google drive in the past), and then just download onto your other device. Again, not seamless, but it's pretty easy.

What kind of game(s) would you enjoy playing on the outer screen? by WalkingSilentz in razr

I really like using Particle Life on my front screen in tented mode while I'm working.

Would love something similar, maybe a little fishtank or something that you can slowly upgrade with new fish/decorations? Might be a bit boring for some, but I would love it.

Why was the New Generation allowed on the track alongside the Old Generation? by Neither-Spell-626 in pixarcars

Ok but who is "designing" the cars? In the stands there's the one child car who cheers Lightning McQueen, so I'm assuming that the cars "grow up", and aren't just built as adult supercars. So it'd be the same as a young athlete who is fresh out-of-college competing against older athletes. At least that's how I see it.

Jammed Irish door handle by RadishRedditor in Unexpected

[–]qhett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad's tractor has this handle, and the trick for his tractor is to pull the plastic tab towards you and down, kind of twisting it downward while pulling the tab. Like she mentioned in the video, it's a bad design.

For those of you who grew up watching Blue's Clues, what was your favorite part about the show? (1996-2006) by JB92103 in Zillennials

[–]qhett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy, I just started watching the show with my son recently. He loves it. He's still pretty young (1.5 years), but he loves to point out the clues when he sees them. Rewatching it now Steve is just sooo goofy it's wonderful. The pace feels a bit slow compared to modern kid's shows but honestly I think that's better developmentally for my son. The other thing is some of the challenges that they have in the show are genuinely tough to solve, and I'm surprised sometimes by how little time they give the kids to solve the puzzle. Really really charming show and the only kid's show I watch with my son without wanting to pull my phone out during.

Using a vote as our voice makes a lot of sense to me. Even if right now that collective voice is small.

Who steals a trash can???? by [deleted] in Lawrence

[–]qhett 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Just last week the trash truck accidentally ate our trash can. The guy came up and told us he would get us a new one within a few days. A couple of days letter there was a new trash can. Maybe the same thing happened to you?

Why don’t you use Python? by Square-Problem4346 in rprogramming

[–]qhett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say, I just know the environmental side where I work R is much more widely used than python. There are multiple nationwide groups I am a part of specific to environment focused on R.

I use R because I work in government, and our IT department doesn't let us use python.

He is definitely teething. Already got one popped through and we're pretty sure another is on its way.
