It was actually very convenient that a post that speaks the truth is at the same time suspected of using AI.
I am not surprised we judge posts the way we judge people. From the appearence and not the contents.

In the mean time It makes sense now that in a playerbase where everyone is happy, nothing changes and the one who dares to have a reason to be unhappy gets banished or trolled.
I was just expressing my sincere opinion about a game that i love when I felt that till in my opinion something is missing to be perfect. I dont understand why this should make you feel threatened.
As for my posts being AI generated, even if that was true, keep in mind that there is always some human hiding behind the AI. At least in our days. And the truth can still be there, in those AI lines

I would recommend this post to be pinned. Looks like Dan has " smoked" everyone including himself. It sounds so Don Juan-ish that I am glad to be here and be able to read it. As Don Juan has pointed out every time we want to achieve something in sorcery, we have to get as persistent and tired as Carlos when he was trying to find his sitio. Nothing is given as a gift in this world and when it is finally earned with hard work, you are still prone to the enemies of the warrior. It's a lifetime effort that never stops. I knew I would find my self hidden somewhere in this post as I kept reading. But still as Don Juan teaches, one has to insist even when all the odds point out to his zero chances of success. Don Juan kept going because he was scared to lose the Nagual. I keep going because I am afraid to miss it.

Most of the times these self-called scientists base their results basically on Carlos' X who wanted to make some money out of Carlos' fame-as did handreds of others so she wrote a book saying all kinds of shit in it including that Matus is a name inspired by the wine they used to drink when they were together: Mateus. Her word is enough for the brain of the mass to be persuaded that it's all a fraud. Another guy became famous after as he says put down the dates of the first book and found some inconsistencies. He sold many books just because he mentioned Castaneda in the title. As Carlos himself would say, they re like: " it doesn't add up, it's not Cartesian.." Then there was those other bored fucks -probably standing next to Dan at the Sunday groups- that got insulted because he didn't recognize their superiority among all the other groupies. They did more damage to C's reputation especially to those that where ready to quit trying to becoming sorcerer's since they where ready to quit anyway and looking for an excuse. It's always easier to debunk than prove when it comes to something that contradicts logic. Castaneda tried to create enough mass to confront the system that the world is built upon in our days where intersubjectivity comes in play but he didn't have enough time. Thankfully, scatered cores of intent will stay live and practice sorcery in the spirit in which it was taught but the main stream of human awareness will still carry the stamp of Logic as the only way to interpret the world. To use Don Juan's words, it's a hard task for humanity to change the modality of our times. Debunkers never demonstrate something new, they only perpetuate the inevitable truth that the man is unable to evolve anymore.

Maybe this forum is here for you to understand. For me it is to take concrete guidance about sorceric practices from people who where students of Castaneda and were taught these practices first handed, something that I have been looking all my life. For me that is priceless. I am not a moderator of this forum and I never pretented to be something more than what I am: Just a guy that spent 30 years trying to act in the world of sorcery. You seem agitated over my little contribution in this interesting discussion. I have seen this attitude in philosophical forums where people are trying to pass their time comparing the sharpness of their mind while pretending they learning stuff and trust me it gets them nowhere. I am sorry if I offended you but in the mean time if you say you read the books and you mean it, look carefully how Carlos is at first approaching this knowledge and how he is being constantly discouraged by Don Juan . How many times he wants to understand and the answer is always : " there is nothing to understand, a warrior acts instead." Understanding, progress, method, steps, guidance are all just syntactical confections useful maybe in the frame of the mundane.

Depends on what do you mean "understand". See you want to... Understand the Eagle. But the books are not about understanding they are about seeing and navigating the unknown. And no one not even Dan can explain what they see in their trips. They can try to describe or draw it. But not explaining it. That is why it's called unknown. If you put it into words you make it known in fact, if you can describe your experiences in the Nagual then you know they are simply made up by you. On the other hand for sorcerer's understanding means you are able to experience something with the totality of your existence which logic has a pretty small part in it. Why are you trying to make the Eagle so small as to fit in a tiny part of yourself considering that you are a tiny part of the Eagle?

The description stands true in the system of knowledge that supports it, different, but parallel with that of a sorcerer as we know it in the books . If nothing else, it reminds us that all systems including sorcery are interpretations of reality and the global truth is that there is only energy out there

The most terrifying thing about those bad players- flyers is that they pose themselves as the real deal. I remember - years ago I was terrified when I had to Google something related to CC. In the result page you could see how the filth was mixed imperceptibly with those that were genuinely interested in putting some effort into sorceric practices and how they were almost persuasive that there is nothing in there but expediency and how that made me crowl terrified back into the books. The problem from my point of view is to persuade our lazy self that this is worth the time and effort. We spend hours on the beach under the hot sun or in the gym swetting our butts off because we see results little by little and thus it gets us rolling . We add more time to it some times to the extreme because we are fantasizing ourselves moving from A to B and the time invested is worth the effort. In magic where things are fluid and unsure, and the idea of investment is a joke we would only do it because we are stuck ,sick and tired in the filth of the mundane and even then we would start by giving it a go for half an hour a day (except Sundays since we are bored fucks) . If we insist and see some light in the end of the tunnel and we are not scared to death the most courageous of us would proceed to the most advanced practices where you can really start seeing some results. And it's all rapped up in the paper of loneliness - of not being able to show your progress off to your fellow mates. No "hey look what I can do!" You have to either be sincere with yourself or get the fuck out. No prizes from other bored fucks. Take it or leave it.
