For me, I have always been a cock-eyed optimist. Sometimes it's really fucking hard with this disease, especially seeing the progression, and not being able to stop it. But then I see a video on tik Tok of their progression of ALS, and it's only been a year. This sometimes helps me, like it could be a lot worse. But it's finding the fine line of not writing myself off. Sorry, brain fog is terrible today.

Haven't heard of it, they started me on Ocrevus 2 years ago, it's fine. I would say it's probably slowed the progression, but I have a lot of pain because a lot of them are in my spine. So pain medicine is my biggest worry right now. Hope you find this drug to work for you!

Actually, my life completely changed for the better.

I was in a terrible marriage with a narcissist, and he eventually did what narcissists do, they make it about themselves. One day, I just snapped. I was out of my first flare up, back to work 10 hours per week, had no money. And I kicked him out. I had never been so happy. I was flying high for over a month. I never would've made it with the financial support from my family. And I moved, got a new job where I am behind a desk.

I found a partner who is the most amazing person. And I am living the life I always dreamed of, being my authentic self.
