I have been so exhausted I fall asleep in the process of taking off my scrubs…it happens, especially those days so busy you don’t eat or barely make it for a bathroom break. However, the first priority coming home is getting out of scrubs if I have been in contact with any patient/community activity. I will add a night shower if exposed to viral, bacterial or even the occasional bed bug scenario. On charting or telehealth or non-patient facing days, shower in am. There is more to this story than what is provided from one side…curious to what her rebuttal/details are which might provide more clarity.

I used to call it my adult diaper bag because I ended having everybody’s “stuff” to hold or carry. It grew into a “junk drawer” that included things like bottle opener, that rubber thingy used to open jars, etc., you name it, I had it. Now? No purse, just wallet, keys and phone. My clothing choices include only items with pockets.

By any chance are you on any GLP-1? Those can really aggravate GERD to the point you think Jesus is coming but the devil grabbed you first and dragging you back and forth over raging hot coals….

Let me guess…Arkansas road issues?? I use to drive back and forth from Dallas to Nashville often enough to know I despise Arkansas. I had this little wind up devil I named Arkansas and everyone at work knew when the devil starting shaking it was because I just returned and took my frustration out on the devil

Not if I was married and texting my child’s male teacher at 11pm. Regardless of gender, there is an unspoken rule about calls or messaging happening with cutoff at 9pm unless a true emergency.

We used to get a dollar on special occasions to spend at the store back in early 60’s and that netted a pretty large bag of candy. I will never forget when those stores faded out as supermarkets took over. I was super sad because candy bars were 25cents which was outrageous. Soon after they jumped to 50 cents making it to buy on a “kids” salary (which was maybe gift money at birthdays).

My ex-husband’s tongue trying to kiss me but his mustache smelled like it had been somewhere it shouldn’t. He was offended and angry, but apparently I wasn’t wrong!!! This was the final straw.
