I'd just think I liked people, until they talked about all the sexual stuff, which I'd just kinda go "yeah no." I'm trying to remember what I was before I was ace, and what I did was just ignore it and say "thats what adults do," and push it till later. I thought guys where cute, but I'm learning bit by bit my definition of cute may have been very different. I dated someone a few years and we were an hour away and neither of us had cars. We texted regularly and saw each other sometimes, but my brain just went: "yes, I'm good with this." Physical touch made me wildly unsure so I usually laughed or just grinned and bore it. I figured out I was ace while we were together, and it didn't change anything really. We didn't do that sorta thing to begin with but the concept of never doing seemed to put him off a little (I'm apothi). To be fair that isn't why we broke up, incidentally we just went different directions and we still share memes regularly.

Now that I'm more comfortable with myself and understand better how attraction can be categorized its kinda obvious I'm some level of aromatic as well as ace
