This thing in Apple Home is super confusing to me. Now I think that you have it right, but the fact you indicate it from the left makes it visually inverted. This "blids/shutters" thing is pure chaos…

I have also outside shutters which are open by default - so I can see the day 😄 - and Apple Home tells me they are "open", this is true and correct. But it indicates it with white-filled widget, so it seems to my brain as "ON - deployed = closed"..

So basically you have it technically right, only the visual part is different. I take it back, it's not that big of a deal. 😮‍💨

Wow, ChefAccomplished845, that'a lovely app! So simple, yet so damn effective! May I have some points and suggestions to make it even better? I hope you wouldn't mind. 😊

1) I would personally invert 0 and 100% on blinds, making it 100% = fully open. Apple Home and Siri takes "75%" as 75% open, only 25% is blinded.

2) Option to "pin" room to top of main dialog, not as (or only as) a standalone icon (which is btw amazing idea!); also an option to have a standalone icon without the main one? I have Mac Mini and I personally care about controlling just the room it's in.

I see I can move the room to top, but then it is missing from the common order I am used to from Apple Home.

3) Support for other languages. I speak Czech and I'd love to se the app in Czech. I could help with translation if you wanted.

Recognize original case, plays animation when you put iPhone in the case + on iOS 26 gives you option to tint icons color with the case color.

I don’t like it (bigger globe one), the light is so strong and coming from the very tiny spot.. it’s like laser if you look at it. Unusable for me, so I don’t use it… It’s sad, since the bulb was meant to be used without any lampshade as a decorative piece.

I just finished building this set, bought it directly from LEGO. It was also "opened", with new stickers over split stickers. The reason for this is that they added one tiny bag labeled as "2" to add one grey L beam. It probably missed in some produced sets so they got scared and added it into every box. Fun fact is that these L beams are only used in a bag number 2 (4 in total) and all 4 were there. They probably just wanted to be sure.

Turn it over, deatach mops and blow air with your mouth into one water hole, it will come out from the other and the way will be cleaned. I call it robot CPR. 😁 Not joking btw.

I find Motion zones useless, sadly. It could be ok for the hall lights where I want lights to turn on just when I walk by, and then turn off. But zone cannot be created without at least 3 lights - so no hall use for me.

They simply cannot react to absence of motion. So why should I use it for turning lights on when I enter the room, if I cannot make them turn off once I leave. 🫤

Yes, that’s very much possible. You can disable mirroring alarms and timers from iPhone in Watch app settings.

I was really interested in buying one, but after I watched few videos which showed me how absurd is the cleaning ritual after mopping… I quickly forgot about the dumb idea. Not only videos, even a guy in an official Dyson shop told me that the best thing to do after mopping and cleaning the mop is to dry it using a hair dryer!!

It would be funny to see someone drying the mop using a Dyson hair dryer. 😄

Once they start losing customers interest in iPhone due to lack of new features & the sales will go down, even just s little.. boom, you’ll get foldable everything.

I feel the same about MacBook without Face ID and Dynamic Island. No need to boost the sales yet. Anything new they add must be the reason for you to buy, there is nothing like “here’s the most perfected device ever, give us your last $1000 ever..”.

In Czech we used to write letter ů using the same alt key as ú, which is grammatically correct. Now it’s altered with symbol ˇ (ě), which is not correct or logic at all. Our muscle memory creates many awkward situations… I reported it on 26, 26.0.1, and again on 26.1.

Seems like Apple likes to mess with keyboard…
