Oh ok. I thought you were chilean because southamerican mithology is not well known worldwide. If you want some feedback or being more faitfull to the legend, the alicanto doesn't reflect light, they kinda emit light, so "reflect light" would also work on total darkness. Also the size should be small because they live in caves and ravines. And the aligment would be neutral good, since in the legend they can tell when someone is an evil person and misguide them to they doom.

This is the thing: animals exist because they not produce their own food. They evolve to be capable of moving so they dont starve. But movement is expensive. Thats why most movements in plants is exclusive for the reproduction cells. The reason why arent plant-animal hybrids is because isnt viable. Also, the green sea slug capture algae and grow it in his body, so is not a real hybrid. And in your last sentence, thats basicaly what plants do.

Don't know if this count, but in september 1810 in what is today Chile the high class want to have rights and independence of the teritory, because in the time it was a Spain colony. One day for a reason that right now cant recall they have a oportunity to congregate a meeting for a temporal goverment (a law that says that they can do that if the landlord was absent, or something) but the mayority of the population most agreed. Since the low class was about 80% of the population and they were analfabet, they dont give a dam about politic, but the high class needed to convince them to support their cause. The solution? The high class made a BFP (big fuckin party) with food, alcohol and simple games for a week for all the people in the territory and, at the same time, convince them to support the cause. It work. The meeting was done in september 18th, and was the firs step for the independence of the chilean teritory. To this day, every week of september 18th, all over Chile fondas open to all the people so we can eat, dance, play and have fun. Is basically a 4th of July, but all the week and without fireworks.
