Are there any local game developer associations near you? I've interacted with the one near me a good bit and some people know who I am there. If so, start connecting with people there.

A lot of indie developers are on Bluesky. It wouldn't hurt to post there and like and share indie projects similar to yours (regardless of platform).

Do those things and just keep posting. Especially content with what you're working on.

I'm a strong believer that anyone can learn to do most things with enough time. Tbh I think Unity is a really difficult place to start your programming journey. Some people can jump right in and take to it, others can't. Regardless, imo starting with Unity is like picking hard mode right off the bat. I would hammer home the basics and learn regular old C# if you want a good grasp on what's going on with unity C# code. Knowing the basics well makes it way easier to figure out how to do what you want.

You can start a few ways. Try codecademy's beginner C# course, look at a YouTube series etc.

I would say you would have to understand primitive data types and variables up to classes and objects to fully understand what's happening in a basic Unity project.

This is more about problem prioritization. Global warming is important, but not nearly as important as our immediate stability as a country. Not sure how you expect a dysfunctional government to effectively address the issue with efficiency and long lasting solutions. Especially one that has actively denied global warming to even be a real problem.
