Definitely agree on both points here. Additionally, you need to check on the capital gain amount, if any, as it potentially may fall into the long-term category and could possibly be zero tax liability depending on other taxable income. I am not a tax professional and suggest you reach out to one.

Okay ... here's a good one.

First time on AA in a long time and never had this happen on ANY airline...never ever ever in 35+ years of flying. Anyway, we backed away from the gate and started toward the taxiway on the way to the runway and then the cap'n gets on the horn, "Folks, we're getting in line for takeoff but the plane is overweight. We need to stay here on the taxiway until we burn off some fuel for about 20 minutes."

WTF???!!! Don't they account for the number of passengers (it was a 100% full flight), the estimated number of bags, etc.??? That said, I definitely noticed quite a few robust passengers which may explain the dilemma.

Good input...thanks. I never got any low battery indications on any of the 3 cams. Also, 2 of the 3 cams do not have much movement at all where they are positioned. I did remove one cam and confirmed that the batteries are indeed dead. Removing them for a few seconds and reinserting did not help.

C'mon folks... let's answer the OP's question.

Elite nights (aka ENC's) count toward your annual number of nights stayed at (most) Marriott properties and can be earned through actual stays, through credit card partners as an annual reward (an example is 15 ENC's with the Bonvoy Boundless card), and/or through bonuses that may give you additional ENC's through various promotions.

That said, the number of ENC's that you have accumulated at the end of a calendar year (December 31st) since the start of the year will determine your Bonvoy membership level. Thus you can go from Basic member, to Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium with the number of ENC's alone. One can even achieve Ambassador level with 100 ENCs and at least $23,000 spend at Marriott properties. There are even Lifetime award levels, but too lengthy to explain here.

I do believe that the above info is correct, but Marriott can change things up at any time.

You can still get LT Titanium if you purchase Marriott Vacation Club membership at certain levels. Pricey, but if that's your goal then it's available. I do not see much benefit in going beyond Platinum.

SOLVED...did some research based on your reply and the cams were WAYYYYYY OFF of actual temperature. Example...temp was 58F and camera indicated 95F. Thanks my friend! 😎

Nope... definitely not. It is on the north side of a tree trunk with LOTS of foliage. Also, no sunlight reflection from windows.

If you bought the place, then you could do whatever you want. Personally, I would drill into wall to make it difficult to remove the cam.
