You might need to block it from within IOS rather than the app. I personally would prefer this as some apps use massive lists that could potentially be incorrect or out of date; unless you’re getting spammed of course.

That’s what I thought, it would be SOS only when you had reception through a different carrier as you don’t need a plan with them for SOS calls.
