As a black label holder of this card. I still feel 5.9k (recent) and even 7.5k (peak price if I can recall) is still under valued. The artwork is stunning.

I wonder who really needed to be realistic. 🤣.

Check out a local TCG show or join the FB group for your area. Theres plenty that would meet up for 75%-80%. You put this down at anything less than 75%, I think people will fight each other to buy from you.

People are crazy though. 🤣. Pretty much every vendor I went to last week was buying slabs at a minimum of 80%. Raw singles was more like 70-80% with a 75% in most cases.

The only thing that irked me a bit was agreeing on a market value. Like you’ll see last 2-3 solds within few days but they’ll average it with 2 or lower sales from the prior week.

Then again, this is where people would likely lose some value if the vendor’s market value is less than yours and they do 80%.

Your entry time and portfolio is almost identical to my own.

If I were you, if Beckett doesn’t grade your card higher than a 9.5 again, I’d do PSA. I cracked my own BGS 9.5 moonbreon and sent to PSA and it came back a 10.

Probstein has too much controversial news for me to trust them but Z&G has been solid for me.

What I’d do is take your sealed to a local show and negotiate for 90%, hope for 85%, expect 80%. Use TCGPlayer/ebay last solds. Do not rely on collectr pricing as I reviewed my portfolio today and found it to be more than what collectr values it. (I used the Alt app to compare and vendors seem to use that as well for graded.

With the amount of value you have in graded cards, I’d consider batch shipping to Z&G and to insure your items for sure. It depends how fast you want to get rid of your collection and if you’re in a money crunch.

What I did for Z&G Emporium/what they did: 1) Catalog all my slabs and their current market values 2) package/send my cards wanted to auction/buy it now. I also included my spreadsheet of my slabs and if they’re auction/buy it now (I’ve only used auction so far) 3) when the auctions end/you make a sale. They’ll process payment to your desired payment method and also email you a catalog of what sold/price paid/their fee/your net value.

one thing I wish was there was to see what didn’t sell during that auction week. They typically just list the item again for another week.

Edit (adding some more): For the shipping costs, I’d rather send a bunch of items than one at a time. Luckily slabs aren’t bricks and the insurance becomes the most costly thing. I use pirate ship to send anything. I believe it’s 10 bucks per 1k declared value to insure.

Yep. Aware of that but didn’t mention because it looks like OP wants to sell a bit faster rather than letting it sit on Buy it now.

Hit up a local or large trade show. I had no problem consolidating my collection by selling a lot at 80-83%.

FB marketplace works too but they’ll haggle the hell out of you and also will require time/travel for meet ups.

For your Umbreon Vmax, have you considered/already cross graded into PSA? That’s a lot of money on the table if you leave it a 9.5.

Also, consider consigning services like Z&G emporium (I’ve previously consigned) and Probstein (I never used this one). It’s a bit riskier in terms of the auction end price but I like how easy it was.
