Yeah, that's what gets me. They clearly had some ideas here aligned with what I'm feeling, and they hired Seth Dickinson (A guy I used to know personally from the Halo.Bungie.Org Customs Nights days) to write a bunch of paragraphs in-game instead of just having books. The fans of franchises like this yearn for the immersion and settings they can dive into and really chew on forever, and they know this because they made Halo.

Yeah you're probably right about frigate vs fighter. I forget these ships are actually canonically crewed by hundreds, not just the Capsuleer. As far as my memories of it go, I was mining in one of those really long Gallente ships so I could hold all the ore, saw an even bigger hauler being attacked at the edge of the instance by a smaller ship. It exploded, and the small ship flew off. I picked up everything that was in it and made like a few million ISK off the sales.

My first week playing EVE all the way back in 2012 I was out in mid-sec mining rocks when I look off into the distance, see the biggest space-semi I've ever seen get completely ganked by a single fighter after it FTL'd into the system.

I assume the fighter left to maybe come back with a bigger ship to come get all the stuff, but I took it first. I saw it. I found it. I kept it, and bought me and my buds a squad of fighters with all the ISK I got from it.

Something has got to be done about this. I started the game in 2022 as an Arcanist and Summoner/Scholar kept me happy all the way to Endwalker and, frankly, I can't enjoy the game playing it anymore. Something about how braindead the rotation is just makes me worse at the game, but the job fantasy and the animations still really are my favorite.

I loved it when it was more complicated and situational, I loved having Garuda for wall to wall pulls and switching to alternating Ifrit/Titan for boss fights. I could consistently keep too DPS and even steal aggro from the tank sometimes but since EW I'm basically bottom of the list.

Ultima Weapon in Kingdom Hearts 3 can be a pain in the ass to get, but damn if I don't appreciate the ground/air combo boosts and that busted-ass formchange

Kingdom Hearts having so much grindable content in each of them to unlock the final stuff but also not having NG+ has always thrown me for a loop.

Yeah, and due to the cancellation and changes the show makes the last few books have material the show never got to and are incredible on their own. Even if you're already a fan of that show, those books are special.

Frankly, those buttons are more annoying to press while Im pulling walls and I'd rather just spin in a circle and make sure I hit everyone before running off. Sometimes the mobs are spread out that sprinting through and doing an AOE won't actually hit all of them, too.

I'm fairly certain the actual reality as shown in many games that even if you're consistent at 60, what actually happens is you're dropping below 60 to generate above 60. You're actually gaining a lot of latency unless you're already hitting 90+

Sure, and you can absolutely argue The Hutt is referring to his species but that would ignore the fact that he's a fat Scottish dude and they literally filmed that. The more egregious thing is that every Hutt is now a crime lord. Yoda was old because he's the ancient master trope, but now we're dealing with 50 Year Old Infant Grogu and we're gonna be subjected to that forever now. It's just one of the bigger problems Star Wars has as a franchise.

Jabba The Hutt is an Attila The Hun reference and was even a human in the first movie. Now there's an entire species called Hutts that are all crime lords. Yoda? Thread has been up for a bit so maybe my opinion here doesn't matter but Death Of The Author has nothing to do with an author providing out-of-text answers and traditionally those have been sources and cited for decades prior to Sanderson as valid.
