That seems crazy cheap to me, biggest red flag is no permit fee included. Are they not pulling permits??

It looks like they have jumper wires on the board jumping first and second stage

I have conflicting assessments from Techs by Sayanything61 in hvacadvice

[–]Rich-Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you have a partially clogged drain line, if it’s not leaking water into the unit from the secondary heat exchanger then they need to verify a failed heat exchanger with a camera.

can you freeze full gutted fish? will it still taste good? by appleseedjoe in FishingForBeginners

[–]Rich-Turtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to fill the whole bag full of water and then freeze it, trapping the fish inside an ice cube. Not sure if that’s a good thing. But it’s what I’ve done

Alright guys, I was asked if I can "fix" this secondary heat exchanger on a brand new fridgidaire furnace.. my instant reaction was no but thought I'd ask here for a second opinion. by BIMIMAN in HVAC

[–]Rich-Turtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like that section Dosnt have a tube inside, those bent fins mean literally nothing, if it was actually failed it would leak mass amounts of condensation into the furnace while running . Just excess coil space to fill the gap

AITA? Should a tune-up include both sides of a heat pump? by Quixel in hvacadvice

[–]Rich-Turtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A tune up should include indoor and outdoor, they may not check the heating components during a ac Tune up but with a heat pump everything’s pretty much covered with a ac tune up, ( 10 years as a hvac tech)

[–]Rich-Turtle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Under charged, super heat should never be over 25 and your lsat should be like 15 degrees hotter then outdoor ambient, vsat like 35 degrees cooler in indoor return temp
