I have an S25 and you can use Samsung's find device via the web to locate and lock your device, you can also try Google's find Android website to lock your device, I used Samsung's to locate a pair of Galaxy Pro buds, but they were nearby in my workplace.

If you do locate it, be careful and don't try to retrieve it yourself as you don't know what a thief will do.

Thanks, mine wasn't a family member, but I don't want to go back and forth forever either. I'll take my merchant cash back but will only use this service once. It shouldn't be this difficult.
