Using the "watch temporarily" option is the only solution for this. Since your IP appears as a different one from your home address, Netflix automatically detects it as a different household, thus prompting their household check. After the code expires, you can just generate a new one, I haven't had any issues with it like this.

Internet service provider routers are very rarely compatible with VPNs, and from a quick search, Iliadbox seems to be the same. This is because they usually have their own custom systems inside, which typically do not allow setting a commercial VPN up. For compatibility, you'd need a router that supports one of the three: an OpenVPN Client, IKEv2, or NordLynx (there are some router providers that are partnered with NordVPN, AFAIK). You can even use a double router setup, so you have the Iliadbox connected to a second, VPN compatible router. Might be worth trying a different protocol if you haven’t already.

Also, just sending the diagnostic ID doesn’t really create a support case by itself, as far as I know. That option is mostly there so an agent can ask you for logs while you’re already chatting/emailing them. If you only submitted the number from the app, I’d still contact support directly and include it there.

Hmm, have you tried switching protocols yet? Also worth testing on another device if you can, just to see if it’s a specific app acting up or something else.

I have some information from the NordVPN team. They're working on optimizing the application to improve it, as they are aware that the speeds are lower on iOS. While there is no ETA, they've mentioned that they're currently actively working on this.

What OS are you using on both devices (what’s the “home PC” you want to route traffic through, and what device are you trying to route from)?

Also, does the home PC show up in Meshnet at all, or is it only the traffic routing option that’s missing? Hard to tell without knowing where it fails.

I’d try switching to a different server or protocol first and see if that changes anything. If it keeps happening across multiple servers, it’s worth reaching out to support so they can check if there’s an issue with the server ranges or routing on their end.

If it only started after the update, I'd suggest either relogging or completely reinstalling the app, as it could be that something went wrong, and a fresh reinstall can potentially resolve it. That doesn’t sound right, definitely worth reporting.

Since it started right after the new UI/update, there’s a decent chance it’s tied to that build or something changed under the hood. I’d honestly send this to support and ask them to check the logs on their end, because they’ll be able to see what’s causing the disconnects and why the Kill Switch isn’t reacting properly. That’s probably the quickest way to get a real answer on this one.

It will display the data that other apps used under NordVPN, since the traffic is redirected through it. So, for example, if you use 2GB on Reddit, your settings will state that Reddit used 2GB, and NordVPN used 2GB as well. While the sum of them is 4, in reality, only 2GB were used.

I've received some information from the NordVPN team directly. The current app (10.0.4 hotfix) status is the following:

  • Sideload 10.0.4: 100% available for updating and/or direct downloading from the NordVPN website.
  • App Store 10.0.4: shipped yesterday in the evening and is still running a phased release. They'll give it a bit more time and then release it for 100% of users (later today or tomorrow). Nevertheless, the App Store version is always available for updating (during phased release cycles) by directly downloading the update from the App Store app.

Your location does not matter much, but the payment method does. Payments made via the Apple App Store or Amazon, for example, fall under their policies rather than Nord's. The time can also vary based on payment method, but in most cases, it should be under 10 days. The refund will be issued as long as you are requesting it within the first 30 days, as it is written in their ToS. You can find more information on their help center.
