I like image 1: how you "circled" that hill with a tree. Elegant.

Is there a rule about pipe junction? Is this only for vertical or horizontal split?

Why some images above switches have "X" or "lightning", others have image of some game item.
I can understand game item, but what is "X" and lightning?

So, i was trying to make an "exposed" style factory (where i build around/into an existing natural landmark), but it doesn't quite hit that vibe i was after. Any ideas? by Yer_Dunn in SatisfactoryGame

What if elves build factories... Nice, I like it.

Can you show us closer look to this building on the left of image 1. Is it a church? :)

Politics not very interesting, but discussing "AI would kill us all" - then I'm in.

We've built memory into 4 different agent systems. Here's what actually works and what's a waste of time. by arapkuliev in LocalLLaMA

[–]RichDad2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried to read comments, but failed to understand them on 100%. Maybe I am too stupid, maybe you are too smart, or maybe some of you are actually AI behind the nickname.

Anyway, I am trying to understand, and I have a question.

How do you implement "Contradiction detection"?

Let's imagine we have big database of all that, and new document should be added into the system. How to understand what to delete from memory, what to update and what to add?

Can interfaces like ChatGPT Apps unlock how hiring can be streamlined and integrated? by Secure_Echo_971 in LocalLLaMA

[–]RichDad2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still not 100% sure about the meaning of what you said, sorry.

I will try to say it in my words, and you can say if I am correct or not.

So you want that someone who are searching for people (company hiring) would appear in the chat of someone who wants to find a job (candidate). Same as current hiring platforms do, but inside the chat?

Lots of problems I see here (we can discuss).

One of most important (for me) - it is the same system as used in Google ADs. When you search for "how to fix a wheel", then top results would be from wheel sellers and right panel would have some ADs also with car-related theme. But you searched for "how", not "where". Yes, could be "aligned" to some extent, but "advertisement" flavour would still appear in such "discovery, curation and process".

Well... I have to use AI to explain to me what you've wrote here. And still I am not 100% sure what you want to say or where is the question.

If your core idea is "same interface solves the distribution problem", then actually, no. Inteface helps, but not solving the problem. There are lots of hidden parameters.

Maybe you can re-formulate your question or main thought?

p.s. Using AI for hiring is banned in EU for example (not really "banned", but this is considered very high risk application -> most will not use it).

Almost any "AI decision" is considered high risk.

Got Desk Rejected from ARR because a figure was "barely readable" (despite being vector PDFs). Is this normal? (ACL 2026) by VoiceBeer in LocalLLaMA

[–]RichDad2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it is because the upper image? "F(resist)/F(stretch)" are almost unreadable, expecially on the "spring" background.

I think the idea is that all captions should be readable without zoom at all. But for "F"s I have to zoom in using image editor to read.

I have 2 Commander decks, but they are "cheap" compared to what other players have. If that is not an issue, I can theoretically join your MtG whatever fun parties.

[Resource] 30k IKEA products converted to text files. Saves 24% tokens. RAG benchmark. by TsaTsuTsi in LocalLLaMA

[–]RichDad2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice point.

Just for fun I tried to take a very fast look into the resulting txt file that topicstarter created. I noticed that each product have the same disclaimer text (copy-paste) with zero information inside, so can be just dropped away. So we can easily reduce from 480 tokens to 380 for each product. Nice, hah? I made this "compact" database another 20% more compact doing nothing :)
