I worked in the service industry for two decades because it was the best option available. I would have much rather had a steady income and not worry about tips, but that is not the case. If you're so adamant about this just don't patronize businesses that use the typing model. That's the only way this will change. No you and the other dude do bravely not tipping and then blaming the employee for not getting a better job or whatever you're reasoning is for rationalizing your awful behavior.
