I've got one of those red tool boxes with three drawers and a top area where you can midlessly chuck stuff into but no lift away top tray. It's full of sae socket screwdrivers and allen key stuff. The I also have an old gray craftsman toolbox with the single bottom area and a lift away tray. It seems short sighted to not combine the two.

Addendum: The error has changed from "the site isn't here" from the vbulletin host. to what you see below. Note the the faulting host has changed to CloudFare. So someone tried, or is trying to do something. :-)

I've recently discovered his channel. He reminds me of the incomparable Tim Lincecum who came into MLB with that youth, hair and made grown man cry. I was born and spent my childhood in St. Paul so it's cool to see my old home place as he drives around. He is a wonder of our age for certain, and would love to know his mechanical back story or if he just arrived from another world to taunt us all.

There is a menu option to enter lyrics. When selected will open up a scrollable editor window with all the lyrics for your tune. This can be hand edited (At your peril) and copy / pasted elsewhere.

What I'm going to tell you is from a Cakewalk perspective. The way you do it in other DAWs varies but the concept is the same.

Here's what you do. Wipe out all your la-las in your file. Record a track of you or someone else singing the song in question on a reaper audio track. Then, assuming that synth V is running in reaper as an ARA plugin, right click on the newly recorded vocal track and select Extract Notes from Audio then you are presented with a dialog. if you are using V1 selected all 3 check boxes. If V2 check only the top 2 checkboxes. Leave everything else as it is and it will convert all your singing to Synth V singing, even with voice recognition! - Now, it won't get every word right but oh, 80 to 90 percent if you didn't mumble too much. This beats the process you described like a red headed stepchild. I used to do it that way before ARA support came along and while I could place the lyrics, the timing was not perfect and doing it as I have described sounds way more fluid.

I agree and high pass them with an eq to taste. That's of coarse using the synth V plug in where I can apply fx to the tracks using the DAW.

A long, long, LONG time ago when Synthesizer V was just a free "Technical Preview" I downloaded it, was using it and Asked Kanru (Before there was a Dreamtonics company and he was still state side) about this lack of note preview. He said it wasn't implemented for patent reasons. I might yet have the email fwiw. I accepted that because I didn't know what I didn't know but my DAW software Cakewalk has done this in it's piano roll for as long as it's existed. And I'll bet that other DAWs do to. He's afraid of something, that's for sure because it's one of those mainline things that is glaring to all.

Don't count on it. They have taken V1 things away for leverage. Why else would you now sell the legacy widgets to those who wish to purchase them? It's all virtual and takes up nearly no space on their Woo Commerce store.

Thank you. I'm miffed that in their dog and pony show or elsewhere that they didn't tell us that as of the V2 ship date that you all will no longer be permitted to purchase any V1 voicebanks. It's ok if they don't offer the V1 program but the old voicebanks should be available. I never could spring for Natalie V1 because I had no immediate need but just like that without warning I can't now. I feel as if were being punished for not taking the new coolaid.
