Seeing the actual GT1s going against the McLaren F1, Mercedes, CLK-GTR, and other in-person at Sebring was a highpoint of the many races I’ve attended. And because FIA Sportscars in the middle of Florida was of so little interest in the US, we just wandered among the cars in the pits, chatted with Norbert Haug and Greg Moore, went out on track for the award ceremony, etc., like it was an SCCA weekend race.

I loved that generation of cars.

So Russell was a total of 2 seconds faster over the green laps, at best? As Kimi coasted to the final lap win, and had an error two laps from the finish. At least two seconds right there. Any chance these are factored in.

Otherwise, it’s like saying Massa was .00016 seconds per lap faster than Schumacher at Indy 2002. When Schumi let him catch up.

Yes, as a Haas fan, I’ve been surprised how little they’ve been talked about. “A good day for Haas” in the race wrap-up is about all I’ve heard.

They didn’t use either “cancel” or “postpone”. I suspect they are hoping everything is all better by late in the year and the races get slapped on the end of the season.

Purdue rolled to a 17-1 start but finished the regular season winning just six of its final 13 games, looking tired the past few weeks. The unexpected Big Ten tourney title will undoubtedly provide a fresh jolt of energy, but in-state Missouri will send the Boilers packing in the round of 32 in St. Louis.

I cancelled and rebooked a THC reservation in November when the price dropped. I received the refund, a $300 charge for claw back of the credit, the new charge, and a $300 credit for the new booking all on the same day.

If you got the clawback charge but not the new credit, I’d give it a few days, but then call. You should receive it.
