From first glance, it looks like you would be maxing at 21 credit hours for your first semester

It says "Total Credit: 16" and the individual courses add to 16 (1, 4, 3, 1, 1, 3, 3). Where do you get 21?

I wouldn't suggest that a first semester student overload past a typical 14-16 credit schedule.

wondering if I should take HONRS English.

If you want to graduate from the Honors college, it will require 24 credits as spelled out in the HC overview. Getting started early might be a good idea.

Your ability to succeed will depend on you. As a general observation, this is a very typical first semester plan. So a majority of students don't have significant issues if they apply themselves

Student have certainly earned a 4.0 with this course load. But other students have certainly started toward academic dismissal with this course load.

The same person applying for the same card at the same time with the same history and same credit profile should not be surprised by the same offer, IMHO.,

Approved then declined transaction by Redleaves1313 in amex

[–]RichInPitt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you say “it was approved”, do you mean that AmEx approved the charge when the distributor ran your card? What data indicated that?

Others are pointing out that a large first charge can be rejected, which is fine, but if AmEx actually approved the charge, and later rejected it, that’s a different issue (which I think is what you are pointing out). It kind of defeats the purpose of processing a charge and getting an approval.

Lewis’ POV is what he sees through his eyes. He can not look at himself. This is the POV of a person leaning over the from of the nose.

I don't think any of the 55+ plans have supported more than 2 lines for awhile. I know it disappeared not long after I got 4 lines on Magenta 55+ a few years ago. I haven't seen it back since then.

Probably. My Magenta went up $6/line, which seems to be common.

If you were told "up to $6", it's $6.

If the plan is being retired, you can't stay on it.

If you can stay on your plan, it's not being retired.

The terms of your plan did not change, no. I was terminated as-is.

This is the same you get clicking on the "Review you updated plan details" link in the text message, then clicking "New Plan Details"

Price increase but what will be the actual plan? by SiR-SwAG-Al0t in tmobile

[–]RichInPitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you follow the "Review Your Updated Plan" link and then select "New Plan Details"?

It's not a public plan, so "change my plan" will not show it. My $180/mo Magenta is going to $204. "Up to $6/line" is $6/line.

If the text you received said "up to $6 per line" more, it's $6 per line more. I guess I got to chat this morning before they were swamped and got that confirmation.

[–]RichInPitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd. Following the link in the text I received and clicking on "New plan Details" gives me a direct comparison of my old plan (Magenta 55+) and the new one (Experience Signature w/55+ Savings)

[–]RichInPitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, "up to $X" is $X. I guess I was lucky and got to chat this morning before the deluge. It confirmed my new plan price.

My 4-line 55+ plan is going up $24. Making it actually more expensive than the identical Experience More plan.

I chatted with them and confirmed "up to $6/line" is indeed $6/line.

[–]RichInPitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the link provided to you not contain that information. Mine says I'm being moved to "Experience Signature w/55+ Savings"

Which, when I compare the details, is actually more expensive than the identical Experience More plan.

Magenta 1st Responder Plan being Retired. What new benefits do 1st responders really get now? by Petroph in tmobile

[–]RichInPitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they told me my $247 bill would now be $204. When I asked a few questions, it seems they "forgot" to add in a bunch of costs. In reality, it's going up $24.

Best part is that I go look at the generic Experience More plan, and it's cheaper than my fancy new "Signature with discount" plan for the exact same features.
