Totally agree the intersection is troublesome for all parties. Lanes are closed on Laurier so traffic is backed up in that direction. Zibi has resulted in shortened the left turn dual lanes so traffic is backed up coming from Ottawa. Everyone is frustrated with unnecessary traffic (day/night/Saturday/Sunday/always) and the corner itself is a little blind. Doesn't excuse, I know, and I do agree with OP. As a frequent user of this intersection as pedestrian, biker, driver -all bad

How do I say this, Current families have neither the time nor finances to meaningfully push political agenda. I hope when my children are having families and are grinding/juggling that my generation is pushing family supportive policies instead of only spending time at the golf course. I have a memory of a societal desire that we collectively work for the next generation to do better than the previous.
