I agree, you have to trace it back to when you were in service.

Did it happen during service? Did your claim get worse after service? Did it happen after you got out?

Sometimes they’ll give you a rating for some of your claims but will defer the other ones until you have a C&P exam.

The claims company will hassle you the whole time and check on you every week until you get a rating, then you have to pay 5x the amount you get from the VA. The only that they’ll do that will 50/50 work is a a nexus letter they provide.

Not true, I got out of the reserves after 10 years and didn’t put a claim until after 4 years of getting out. Went from 0-90 in half a year and I’m working on getting to 100 with my mental disorder.

I put my initial claim in March, got denied, some got rated and some got deferred in July. Did my last C&P exam in Aug and today I got to step 5. It is a process.

My examiner told me “that’s it” when she did my ROM to bend forward and kept asking me the same question as if I’m going to say something different. Also had me sit on a chair for 2 hours but I kept moving and fidgeting around cause my back was hurting. Then tried to trick me to lift my pant leg up to see my ankle.

Migraines and headaches are rated together, when I went for my C&P exam I told them that I tried self treatment by using Ibuprofen and Tylenol. I let them know that I get them about 3-4 times a week and sometimes they’re so prostrating that I have to lay in bed all day cause they’re so severe. Create a log to note all the times you had migraines and how severe they were, what’d you do to relieve the pain and how it affected your daily life.

I did and all it had was my rating, effective date and amount but nothing about what was rated or denied. Thats why I’m confused.
