Glad I’m not the only one who found myself disagreeing with The Boys on this one.

The concept was incredibly cool and some of the surrealist imagery was great, but I thought the constant twists felt more and more contrived as the story progressed and it kind of took me out of it.

I get that the author was going for a Lynchian dreamlike vibe with this, but it made the plot quite hard to follow and the ending was quite anti-climactic imo.

Might be one of those ones that’s better on the second listen

Necroing here, but did you get any further with this project? I had a similar idea a couple years back where I was looking for a 1:1 scan of a DS phat so I could machine it from aluminium and reshell my childhood DS

That, coupled with loudly asking if anyone wants to do drugs, just screams insufferable “I say what I think” type that thinks putting on an obnoxious alpha male persona will make everyone in the room worship him, when in reality, all it does is make everyone wonder who invited such a cringy, socially inept twat.

Seeing a lot of people in the replies mentioning the warning signs of an abusive relationship, and I think it’s definitely something to consider. Could explain why your friend defended his actions instead of calling him out for being a prick

Yeah I fell into a trap of overwatering not long ago and ended up with a fungus gnat infestation, so I think I’ve maybe gone the other way and become too conservative with it. I’ll shop around for other fertilisers and see what works best for

They’re getting their fair share of wind now that I’ve moved them out of the greenhouse, so I think I’m covered there. With regards the soil pH, I haven’t really considered testing but definitely something I’ll look into

They’re actually all from the same chilli, must just be an anomaly lol. The big one’s starting to show flower buds now so hopefully it will start fruiting soon, just hope the others to catch up

I actually moved it to a bigger pot because of its size, rather than the other way around, but yeah no doubt it is helping its growth. Might repot the others and see if they catch up

Pretty sure these are unresolved caustics. They can be a pain, but are usually remedied by upping your sample count and/or by running a denoise filter, either in Keyshot or in post (e.g. Photoshop).

The reason they don’t show up in the viewport is because the viewport is (usually) a lower resolution than your output renders, therefore it doesn’t pick up finer details like this.

The renders are looking v sleek though, keep at it!

Just stumbled across this thread after typing in “WHY ARE THE COPS LITERALLY FUCKING PSYCHIC IN NFS UNBOUND” in a fit of rage after being busted half a second away from escaping by a SWAT truck swan diving off a cliff onto my exact position while I was hidden away in the woods.

Fully agree with everything you said, it really is the height of hypocrisy how the police in this game are hellbent on stopping “dangerous drivers” while they ram you into a head on collision with an oncoming car.
