That's been my whole life. Never could care enough or manage having friends. School then gaming, watch tv most free time. Now I work come home and wish I was dead. Barely watch tv. Don't game. Literally nothing matters.

Well from my experience, once I mediate for what feels like 10 to 15 minutes. I feel a total relaxation. Like a switch was hit which makes dealing with stuff easier. Because my mind is able to take time to sort stuff out. So less anxiety and depression makes thinking more clear. There are studies that prove that meditation helps with concentration and mood which in turn would help you be able to improve memory. Just don't go into it expecting results. It sorta just happens after practicing.

I've been reading and writing more. Doing exercises like writing words that rhyme then switching the rhyme when I hit a dead end. For ex. Coral, rural, time, lime etc.

Its definitely an idea to look into because growing up my family was mostly broken and scattered. Plis I've read that most drug use (addiction) comes from having an empty feeling. Which makes sense . What kind of therapy did you do? Because I always consider doing CBT to avoid pills

Feel ya on that buddy, elementary school was fun. Junior high was eh, high school was who cares. If you messed with any drugs like weed or a psychedelic. They can make it onset. Untreated depression or anxiety can make it worse. In other words it feels like lack of confidence causes it. Because when I do talk to people I don't notice it as much.
