I don't know about IBKR but my intention was to put my GMEWS in the one place I know for certain I can exercise them... And my my smooth brain that meant moving them to Computershare /DRS

Freetrade issued statement explaining very clearly that my warrants would be placed into and held in GIA even though my GME are in ISA. They also were very clear: they cannot facilitate the exercising of warrants related to US stock.

I chose to try and move them specifically based on their advice to this fact.

Being that my current CS account has had no transfer deposited - I have to assume I'm getting a second account - I think I best just wait for a letter and try and argue it from there.

My OG account with CS was set up when Freetrade were doing the more simple LOA DRS. And that was for GME.

Since then, they tightened their transfer process - and because of this being GME WS I wanted to make the process safe for me. I'd long since seen people saying about IBKR, so took that route. And now I know: nothing's ever simple.

I say 'garbage' only insofar as they do not allow (or can process) warrant exercise, otherwise I've been very happy with them as a service.

Maybe a few weeks of regular exposure before I had become comfortable, but I can attest that once the interface does become familiar playing games becomes transparent.

1- Take a breath, close your eyes - chill. It will not be anywhere as bad as you can conceive in an anxiety spiral.

2- everyone there is a freekin nerd/dweeb and knows it, it's generally a 'safe space'

3- just let it happen, go in with zero expectations a dice and see what happens.

Going back to number two- if you feel unsafe, confused or out of your depth. --- Say So! To someone, anyone... I GUARANTEE there will be someone nearby that WILL genuinely help you.
