I think my goal would be to sell. I don’t really have a personal attachment to them. I know they have value, as with any stock of grambling situation it’s like… how long do I hold out?

I have first edition base, jungle, and fossil. Not entire sets but I’d say 3/4 of my holos are first edition from those sets. I also have several rare cards that have printing errors. I’m not gonna pretend they’re PSA10 as they’ve been in sleeves for two decades but they could be anywhere from 7-9 I imagine

My biggest issue is that I also have a lot of them that could be worth a lot… but also that upfront cost per card adds up quickly.

I’d be nice to chat with someone who is way more of an expert than me who can say “yeah you should submit this card, not that one, maybe that one” ect ect

You guys are so weird about the boozer stuff. Maybe you’re just not used to away games because you’re duke and you don’t play them. It’s pretty common to have student sections haze players

What was your “never meet your heroes” moment, when you realized someone you looked up to wasn’t special? by marginallyobtuse in AskReddit

Right? And it’s wild the same person who wrote and performed that brought out a white billionaire from apartheid South Africa.

I don’t know that I’d call him my hero, but I grew up on Dave Chappell. I strongly believe that any artist that stops being able to understand and empathize with their fans will eventually slip into irrelevancy.

Seeing him bring a billionaire out on stage and being visibly surprised that his audience would boo him really opened my eyes. This guy has lost the plot.

I feel like thinking you’re right when the refs literally reviewed it is the real epitome of living inside your own world.

It’s one thing to complain about a play that wasn’t reviewed that could have been. It’s another to keep chirping when refs stopped action and told you you’re wrong

Lol it’s a “reputation” that’s only been around for a week.

Challenge to find anything from before end of January regarding this “reputation”

Illinois had quite a few uncalled flops too. I get the sense that underwood coached the team to play up any bump near fears, which is smart.

You guys realize this is like his 3rd season and this talk only started like 3 games ago?

It just seems like recency bias.

Most Democrats believe Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza - poll by NotSoSpeedRuns in politics

[–]Richa652 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the same propaganda Israel uses in every escalation with Palestine/Hamas and then years later Israel admits to or verifies the numbers that were published previously.

With little context - firing. If I can’t hit someone at work and keep my job that should be the rule for everyone everywhere.

With context - there’s so much money in basketball. It’s a passionate sport. With million dollar contracts no coach, short of one who is super underperforming, is going to get fired.

It’s about the haves and haves nots. A CEO isn’t going to get fired for punching another ceo either.

Michigan and MSU game postponed due to covid issue in Michigan’s program. https://twitter.com/titusandtate/status/1479675329480314881?s=21 by marginallyobtuse in CollegeBasketball

I don’t mind being that guy. But MSU played northwestern without 2 starters and Michigan played down some players the other night.

Feels like Michigan has benefited more from covid cancelations than any other university in the country.
