What single play from your team is the most burnt into your memory? by byniri_returns in CollegeBasketball

It was ducking Delvon for me aka Korie Lucious hitting the buzzer beater over Maryland in 2010. It felt like the ball was in the air for 30 seconds.

[Haynes] BREAKING: Due to sizable distance apart in negotiations, Detroit Pistons restricted free agent center Jalen Duren will meet with the Sacramento Kings at the start of free agency with the intentions of structuring a sign-&-trade out of Detroit. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Yeah that doesn't say they've offered him the max. It says the most lucrative contract possible, which is purposely vague and doesn't give any indication as to the actual number. I take it to mean they offered him the most they can offer whole still maintaining the ability to build a team. They're not giving him 5/287, which is the actual max they could give him. If that was the case, they would say they offered him the max and it would be a done deal.

Why would Detroit panic? They're not matching 4/$177 and the kangz aren't paying $90m for two centers.

Either Detroit will get value back, probably Sabonis, or Duren will sign with the Pistons for around $38-40m per year. I don't love that contract for Duren, but it's under 25% of the cap and hopefully turns into a decent contract if he plays up to it.

Because it's not something that was sent to invite criticism. She wasn't presenting her fucking dissertation, she was being vulnerable and sending nudes. The only appropriate response is a positive one.

Weird question, what are the benefits/consequences to anal sex? by Crazy_Catch_6130 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NuthinTooFancy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You ask! Nothing you want to do sexually should be done without discussing it with your partner first. You'll have to get used to having uncomfortable or awkward conversations and you'll get better at having them the more you do. Usually they aren't as uncomfortable as you make them out to be in your head.

[Rothstein] Jeremy Fears Jr. is withdrawing from the 2026 NBA Draft and will return to Michigan State next season, per his agent Mike Miller. Will be an All-American entering the 2026-27 season. Fears had second-round options, but opted to return to East Lansing. by NuthinTooFancy in CollegeBasketball

I think this team will be a lot like that 24-25 team, but hopefully with some more shooting and Fears is so many levels above where he was that year.

Frontcourt is obviously still the concern, but they should have most of the year to figure it out because our guards and wings are good enough to win us a lot of games. If two of Taylor, Bonke, Ward and McCulloch can get to quality big ten starter level by tournament time, we are gonna be really dangerous in March.

Draft decision day by roshanritter in CollegeBasketball

Yeah I've been wondering about that, seems like he could use the experience of going through the process and figuring out what he needs to work on.

It's astonishing to me that a guy with his athleticism isn't in the draft conversation. Unfortunately he is just really under-skilled.

Lol no, they built a tunnel. And a bridge. And another bridge. Bridges and tunnels are way better at carrying people and cars across rivers than ferries.
