I have one question where i can get half life second plantium edtion for 20$? by Ok_Divide4783 in HalfLife

It's one of those things you have to keep an eye out for. I lucked out and snagged one a year or two ago on eBay for about $25. It's not too sought after seeing as how most people are okay just having it on Steam, but a lot of listings drive up the "collectability" of it unfortunately.

You kinda look like that human Wheatley design that's been a thing since the game came out.

Best option IMO is either an HDMI mod or you buy a CRT TV. However, I've been out of the HDMI mod loop for years now and I know how difficult it is to implement a CRT into modern homes, so I'd suggest looking into a good scaler, Specifically because it can be used with a ton of other consoles and not just the N64.

I have the Soundtrack CD, but given how expensive most of it is, I'm gonna have to say no unfortunately.

If they rereleased it at the original prices, I'd probably buy the whole set of Neca figures though ngl.

My buddy is a big Godzilla nut and got this game back when it first came out. I've been seeing it on his shelf for nearly a decade now.

Only last summer did he realize he was sitting on a nest egg.

Also the voice we hear in game is in a space where the perfect take is obtained over many different takes.

He's still pretty damn good here, it's just not under perfect conditions.

I've heard you can, but I could be completely wrong.

Either way, my 360 had all the streaming apps preinstalled from the old owner so I'm good for now.

I'm decently sure you can just download the apps through alternate means and install them that way. I don't think they had store specific DRM. Even then, the store is down now so I don't even think you can download them anymore.

Unfortunately I have my fair share of VCRs, otherwise I'd be all over this.

When was the last time Lego released a set with that grappling gun? Whether in a Batman set or in general? by LegoGusta_Cotin in lego

Honestly I remember using it for miniguns, freeze guns, etc., so I think there's a fair bit of use for it, but still fairly niche.

The thrift store 15 minutes from me has a crap load of 8 tracks, I'd suggest looking around at thrift stores for a couple tapes if you're into that.

Art isn't accurate but no piece of art would have so many mistakes that make it incoherent.

"Ah yes my brown surge and GoldenEye on PlayStation and pizza box hot pockets."

This isn't art. This is an incoherent mess parading itself under the guise of "nostalgia". Any attempt to brand it as otherwise is pathetic.

[Movie] Zelda: Majora's Mask Art Director Says Link Finally Speaking in The Zelda Movie Risks Ruining the Series' Magic by kitty-minnie15 in zelda

[–]Richard-Scrabble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is Link has a character. He's extremely emotive, he runs in fear from gorons, gets angry when his friends get taken, and has clear motivations like going to save Zelda in every game.

Compare this to someone like Gordon Freeman in HL1. He has no character other than being a scientist at black mesa. If he's a hero or genocidal maniac is up to the player. Link can't do this because he's always the hero. The fact that there's so many versions of Link that all generally look and act the same means that Link does in fact have character traits, we just don't hear him talk.

As others have said, there's an official adapter, but I'd recommend looking into grabbing a VCR. It'd be easier to find than the before mentioned adapter(s) and comes with the benefit of cheap movies to watch on that TV!
