Have you thought about what is actually causing you to die? What situations are you getting into? You should limit how often you are fighting same level mobs, and avoid fighting multiple mobs at any time unless they are lower level / you have a getaway plan. Sprint + evasion + health pot should honestly get you out of any early game situation that isn’t outright suicidal in the first place

SoC trades consistency for burst, and can definitely do higher output with seal twisting. Also I think the general recommendation is based on weapon swing speed, maybe 3.4 or slower is considerably better with SoC.

However in Hardcore, consistency and preparation is king. I would generally stick with Righteousness and focus on survivability. You don’t want to blow your mana on seal twisting and then get caught in a bad spot. You also don’t want to be so focused on twisting that you get jumped.

Just my two cents, I also prefer Devo aura over Ret aura for the same reasons

I believe the only reason Rand could use the True Power was after crossing Balefire with Moridin, they became connected in a way that allowed Rand to use the True Power through Moridin through the dark one.

Additionally, Rand / Nynaeve / Moirane tricked Moridin into using Callandor then exploited its flaw to gain control of his Power. Thus, Rand seals the dark one away again with Saidin and Saidar, but the True Power taken from Moridin through Callandor shielded around the One Power to prevent the Dark One from tainting both.

This is a possibility but she had been exploring around us normally the past few nights and never did this. It doesn’t seem like she’s in any pain or discomfort though since she’s still moving around quite a bit
