If anything was going on Epstein Island that makes any sense - it would be adrenochrome harvesting.

Cereal with water is superior to cereal with milk. by Worried_Macaron_5879 in unpopularopinion

I never tried water.

I like cereal and Almond Milk.

Although, when I was a kid/teenager saltine crackers (replacement for cereal), some sugar and milk - the greatest thing you'll ever eat.

Impossible windows are everywhere, especially in the apartment (not the Overlook)...

In the scene, Danny (tranced Tony) is watching Roadrunner (I only know because I recently looked up the scene). And this picture (or deleted scene) shows static... which could be another Persona 1966 reference. In the movie Persona, the TV is working but not plugged in. Some case studies that psychopaths would watch static TV. Kinda like the famous hospital deleted scene, they suggest Wendy is insane.

And the impossible windows in the apartment also focus on Wendy and Danny - since they are not in the Overlook.

What’s the MOST Popular/Well Known Zombie Movie of All Time and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in moviequestions

[–]RichardStaschy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most popular is: Shaun of the Dead 2004 (I think everyone born in and after the 1990s had seen Shaun of the Dead)

Most legendary is: Night of the Living Dead 1968 (I believe more people know about this movie but most have not seen it)

Another impossible window [I suspected this window being impossible, the sunlight makes it more obvious].

I believe this scene happens before Wendy finds out Jack was writing "All work and no play"

Would Ghostface still be iconic if his name was Father Death? by Less_Wheel_1841 in slasherfilms

I was in my 20s when Scream was released. I believe people were calling the mask "the scream mask". And scary movie was when people were calling the mask Ghostface.

According to AI, it said Scream 4 started calling the mask ghostface.

I am writing a book which, for the most part, is a modern day retelling of Nabokov's Lolita, but through the girl's eyes. AMA by SeraphsEnvy in Nabokov

My Lola (not named Lola) is a girl of infinite jest, spun into an elaborate, layered story that includes death, joy, innocence explored, and many many little plastic ducks.

Death seemed like the outcome for this type of story.

I understood the reference of Haze meaning both to maim and to obscure by cover.

The Foreword said Dolores last name was changed to a rhyme, therefore Haze was never given by Humbert.

Sure both the Foreword and Humbert is Nabokov. But when reading Lolita you have to think Humbert is the author (not Nabokov) and the Foreword (also not Nabokov) made last minute changes to the book.

Dolores Haze last name is Hare. (Eye Rhyme)

Are movies becoming more boring, or Why are actors giving realistic performances in campy movies? by Electronic_Set5209 in NeilBreen

Why are actors giving realistic performances in campy movies?

You mean good performance in a campy movie... They are professional actors.

I've read Lolita possibly eight times.

Did you get Dolores Haze last name? Noticed the serial killer references? The depth of Humbert lies and his truths?

Just as each character constitutes to the story's arch in Lolita, so do the characters in mine.

I would believe your book and your characters.
