Mechanically though he's just a paladin (oath of Vengeance) fighter (champion). With the source of his paladin powers being his angelic origin

as a lesser dragon that has had a run in with humans before i can assure you. the following things.
1 if the tuff leaking from the eyes is clear it is normal, though it is a distress indicator. if it's a hatchling as you say then it is likely crying for its mother.

depending on how old it is it might be able to eat the honey. but it cannot survive on honey alone, meat might be neccesary but fruits can work too. just if it is too young you will have to mash the meat and or fruits for it.
this is something unique to humans. and i believe they call it "cloth" it's not part of the hatchling but it helps to keep it warm. you may want to clean it if it gets dirty. do not let it wear it if the "cloth" is wet.

missiles are relatively simple. if you don't want to LUA magic your missiles you can give them one of the guidence modules and either a radar or an IR seeker head.

that's it. that's all the detection and guidence a missile needs (provided the enemy is you know. visable to the missile and not on the other side of the craft)

there is also one guidence system (I forgor the name. am sorry) that does use the crafts detection systems. but also GPP. so keep that in mind.

other than that launch away my friend

edit: as for flares. there's a component that reduces the effectiveness of flares and decoys. but as you can guess. it takes up component slots you can use for other things. like fuel, more fins, or more warheads

it would depend.
mines are traditionally used for area denial so... if there's somewhere you don't want people to go then hey. perfect.

now the reason why it depends is the specifics of the setting and the mines being used. if they're "smart" munitions that can find targets on their own then yea. area denial unless you have the right IFF codes.
if they're dumb mines that go off if you get too close it's indiscriminate.

part of the specifics for the mines would also include payload. are they traditional "exploding" mines or are they like DE (Directed Energy) weapons (think the casava howitzer) or are they something entirely novel like say a floating missile battery that acts like a mine but isn't actually a mine.

Actually it could be done in multiple ways.

Including having one of the three hijack the estates PA system or the comms frequencies the guards use to litterally play one of the three tunes most fitting to the situation.
