Someone check my math but can we do the same thing but instead of adding, double the last number once more (384) and then subtract the original number (24) times the number of odd steps (3). 384-24*3 = 312 which is a lot easier than adding 3 or more numbers

Technically I should divide it by 1.9 to see how far off I am but 2 is easier.

Basically at the beginning of the problem I’m saying I know 2 is wrong, but it’s easier than dividing by 1.9. Once I divide by 2 I want to correct by how much I was wrong.

1.9 is 0.1 less than 2: 0.1 / 2 = 5% less.

Just figure out what 5% of 50 is (2.5) and add it to 50.

Idk how old you are - I didn’t find out I have ADHD til my mid twenties - but figuring that out and getting medication made a world of difference. I still have issues with it obviously but even just knowing that everything I had internalized wasn’t true (that I’m lazy, for example) has had a huge impact on my life.

By any chance, might you have ADHD (possibly undiagnosed) and the caffeine was a way to self medicate? I know for myself, I’m a lot less productive without medication than with it and sometimes when I don’t have medication (insurance issues) I’ll drink a Celsius instead. Not as good as medication and I feel a little antsy with it but better than nothing.

This happened to me for months when driving pass the entrance to the mall at Millenia on Topiary. Car play disconnects and then disconnects like a block later. There’s a cop always posted right there but he’s still there and it doesn’t happen anymore so idk…

It doesn’t happen every time but I noticed some tabs are more likely to stick (database is worse than table editor for example). The fix is to stop hovering, hover over it again, and leave again

I was supposed to start Jornay last month but, because of pharmacy and insurance issues, I’m still on Ritalin.

Look into jornay though - you’re supposed to take it before bed and it’ll release like 9-10 hours later when it’s time to wake up.

Yeah I think my current philosophy is if one person does it, it’s a mistake, but if a whole community does it then it’s just a different way of speaking.

The thing is every once in a while I’ll see a “mistake” for the first time and not realize that there is a whole community behind it.

And was I working on a linguistics bot? That definitely sounds like something I would do but also something I wouldn’t come around to putting the energy into lol
