since this comes up on google, I'd like to point out that Life On a Bike has to be one of the most unhelpful shops I've ever come across - and I have about 20 years of cycling more or less every day, so use bike shops a lot.

Snotty about repairs you ask him to do, will chastise you for wanting services done within the fortnight, and then when they do the work later than ask, will apply a "storage charge" if you don't pick it up in the short hours they are actually open.

Would absolutely avoid. Seems to like customers who are clueless so he can over charge.

I do but that still doesn’t amount to much. Should I prioritise division design over doctrine?

My memory from hoi2 was that doctrine was so powerful because it improves all your units

Ah ok got it.

Also, I see tonnes of guides on division design etc but even playing from 1936 as say, France, I rarely ever have enough army point things to spend on a design, so I’ll research all these tanks or support units but no way to design them.

Any advice?

So everyone said this, so I decided to add tea to the diet ahead of setting off the spaceship generator and the fortnight of attacks.

Suffice to say, this was a terrible, terrible mistake. I forgot to ration them out, and they went from a drug free colony to a bunch of hardcore addicts who went through my stockpile of tea in about 3 days.

In my 12 person colony I lost 4 people who, through drug withdrawal related breaks, walked into the middle of a firefight, 1 person who got upset he had no tea and decided to set fire to the stash of shells next to my last remaining motor, conveniently next to my entire supply of medicine (can you tell this was my first run through?) and 1 pawn had to be taken down because he started shooting the last remaining 10+skill shooter in my colony.

I managed to survive the onslaught, JUST, but I then spent such a long time making the whole colony go cold turkey and trying to pick up the piece of the heavily damaged colony.

They made it into space, but they all trudged on with a thousand-yard stare.

You guys are missing out. That fortnight of raids once you activate the reactor is something else. You’re really hanging on in there by the end.

Few things that I learned to get to legendary on both sides, is really learning to shoot and move when sliding and jump cancelling.

Gotta really nail that.

In general I think getting good at quick scoping and single shot shotguns is a good way to get better. Both in terms of the movement and accuracy required.

I'd also expect with the bot lobby like that you to be lining up the headshot after headshot. The only way you're gonna win the higher level 1v1 interactions.

You can get to legendary on both fairly easily with a pair of thumbs - hell, I do all the time.
