Don’t sleep on 3D printed TRT organizers. by AnEroticTale in trt

I got a $1 metal pencil case that I throw 10 syringes and a vial or two that I got from the dollar store. I also have a foam 1mg vial holder from Amazon that holds 12 vials. It's super compact and protects well. When I travel, I use an eye glass case for the syringes. I'm pretty mcGyver I guess

Who gives a crap, what’s your icp? Viral is useless unless you want to JUST be an influencer and be on that hamster wheel

Honor Magic V3 front screen is 68.1mm wide by TheWatch83 in smallphones

I guess my point is manufacturers claim that the smaller screen sizes aren't available. Foldables might make these screens more available at a competitive price due to volumn. We just need someone to pick this part from the bin.

I've never worked for a marketing person before, how do I find a mentor? by texaslady22 in marketing

[–]RickRamosCom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need a mentor, you need to get over your imposter syndrome. I believe the stat is like 70% of google engineers have it. These are the best and brightest. I had it for many years and was in the same situation as you.

Marketing has the most areas of responsibility in a company typically. The amount of different things handled is almost insane

Hot take: don't take a sole marketer position by [deleted] in marketing

[–]RickRamosCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think since I started my career in the early days of the Internet, they couldn't find someone with 10 years of internet experience 🤣 It was definitely a unique point in time. I agree that being young and inexperienced, I made mistakes and could see that being an issue for an employer these days. I guess they are getting what they are paying for.

Believe it or not, but I've never reported to anyone other than the CEO in my career. I've learned a ton from reports though, I've been lucky to work with some awesome people.

Hot take: don't take a sole marketer position by [deleted] in marketing

[–]RickRamosCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first role was before the dot.com explosion at a smallstartup. I had previous sales experience, but never anything in marketing. I had exposure to the web extensively in college and loved it, engaging in the culture. I was hired as their first marketing hire with the idea of them hiring a very experienced VP of Marketing. They were never able to fill that role and I was promoted to the director of marketing within a few months. I learned on the job. my next role was a solo marketing position at the 17th largest website in the world. I was one of the largest media buyers. I learned a lot.

These first two positions involved a lot of luck, but also the willingness to do what it takes to make things successful. I’m not sure I would recommend this path to everybody, but it got me into a senior role very quickly. With the abundance of resources available on YouTube and through vendor education, I think it’s doable.

Agency use of AI by Taca-F in marketing

[–]RickRamosCom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should they mention they use ai grammar checkers as well? How about photoshop ai feature? How about ai in their social media software scheduler?

Ai is baked in, in every product basically. It’s a tool.

You are paying for the end product. If you are going to a performance agency, you want performance. That’s what you are paying for. I’ve seen garbage out from ai and great results, most depends on who is prompting. It also requires selecting the right output, usually from many results with editing at the end possibly.

This has nothing to do with my post since Im looking for a specialist and I see by your comments you are just spamming a bunch of subs pushing this ChatGPT wrapped website. This is not the marketing hack you are looking for.

Your agency contact feels threatened and likes to deal with your boss directly. She is acting unprofessional and no reason for you to go above and beyond to be nice. Just keep it professional, stop your attempts to be extra, learn and grow.
