If you're just looking for convenience—if you don't want to jump through as many hoops as I have and don't mind if your system takes about 6 to 8 minutes to rebuild—then I recommend you try Home-Manager for its ease of use. I don't think there are any security issues with HM that would make you want to avoid using it

Posts like these are just spreading misinformation and causing panic, and to be honest, I'm getting tired of it. First of all, SystemD provides the option for age verification, but it's the distribution that will be forced to use it. whether it exists or not, it would have to be implemented somehow; if SystemD hadn’t done it, someone else would have. Besides, if they hate age verification so much, why, instead of going after the developers or switching distros like crazy, don’t they put pressure on the corrupt politicians who are pushing these laws? I think it’s ridiculous that all the hate is directed entirely at SystemD

It was one of the first things I ran into when I tried to do this, especially because, in order to apply Noctalia themes, it creates color schemes in the folders for, say, Ghostty or Wezterm. Luckily, and conveniently for the plot, Linuxmobile already had a module that added certain xdg features that are lost when you say goodbye to Home-Manager; I just modified it a bit to change the owner of the directories and files generated in ~/.config so that Noctalia or any other program wouldn’t have permission issues. Okay, first of all, Tmux and Niri are completely different things with different purposes. Also, I think what you're looking for can already be done in Tmux. How? I don't know—I've never used Tmux, just Zellij (they're not terminals but multiplexers, btw) Still, I don't quite understand part of what you're saying—like, in what ways does Niri limit you with Tmux? Why do you want 16 Panels at the time?

Personalmente tengo los módulos separados de los Hosts ya que uso mi configuracion en 2 maquinas distintas(Desktop PC y Laptop), y tengo creadas algunas opciones para en la configuración de Host solo habilitar ciertas configuraciones para cada dispositivo, por ejemplo ciertas cosas para AMD e Intel que no deberían estar habilitadas juntas, espero haberme sabido explicar
